WE SHOULD NOT RESPECT FALSE RELIGION, RESPECT PEOPLE

The Bible calls the unity of false religion by the name of Babylon. Rev. 17:5.

Christ warned of false religion when He said that many shall come in His name saying He (Jesus) is the Christ. Matt. 24:4,5.

Satan also has false gospel ministers. 2 Cor. 11:13-15.

But God has one true Faith. (Deut. 6:4; Eph. 4:5; Acts. 10-12).

God expects one to respect that true Faith. Ps. 119:6,15, 117.

If God Himself does not respect false religion, neither should we. Gen. 4:3-5; Num. 16:15.

However, while we are not to respect false religion we must respect people. Ex. 2:25; Lev. 26:9.

Imputed and imparted righteousness are usually seen as different things in apostate theology; they are presented as happening either successively or at the very same time, but they are presented as two different salvific functions. “In this most illuminating paragraph, the writer traces two distinct phases in the process of our salvation—two complementary aspects of the plan of redemption—which are in a certain sense successive, but at the same time simultaneous; two different operations of the same righteousness of Christ, which alone can satisfy the demands of divine justice and make saints of us.
