IN LOVE I SAY TO SDA's LEARN THE TRUTHS FROM THUSIA SDA, and avoid as much as possible the influence of the misguided pastors and the error filled quarterlies especially where issues of salvation from sin is concerned.
MRS. WHITE SUPPORTS THE COUNSEL GIVEN ABOVE for one to avoid the influence of the misguided pastors and writers, SEE THE FOLLOWING QUOTE:
"Now those who have had years in this same experience, know not God nor Jesus Christ whom He has sent, and should such go forth as representatives of Jesus Christ? These men will never give the right mold to other minds; they have grown up to the full stature of men and women in Christ. They simply have the name of Christians but are not fitted for the work of God, and never will be until they are born again, and learn the A.B.C. in true religion of Jesus Christ. There is a little hope in one direction: Take the young men and women, and place them where they will come as little in contact with our churches as possible." Taken from the Paulson Collection pg.344 or Letter 16f May,9th, 1892.
Today SDA's do not know or hold the following biblical truths; Justification is to be made righteous, faith is the revealed truths of God, the life is a knowledge of God through Jesus Christ which God gives us in making us spiritually minded and righteous, that the blood of Christ represents the life of Christ, that the death of Christ is not a penal substitution but is to give the life of Christ for holiness or salvation from sin and not salvation from penalty in a direct way, they do not hold that Christ came in the same flesh as us - the converted is thought to have a flesh with sin pemanently embeded in it called sinful nature while Christ's flesh is thought to be different, they also don't hold that sinfreeness is a gift God in justification, and that we must have Christ's character in the Investigative Judgement, for God shall be judging our deeds and not Christ's deeds instead of us when the books are open ... and there is more but one would need to take time to investigate the truthfulness of the few doctrinal positions I have already given.
