GRACE EMPOWERMENT SERIES PT.3 (continued from February 25TH )

SUMMARIZED POINT: THE SCRIPTURES TEACH THE GRACE IS OF GOD SHOWN FORTH FROM THE DEATH OF CHRIST EFFECTS RIGHTEOUSNESS WITHIN THE PERSON THROUGH THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD BROUGHT FORTH FROM CHRIST'S DEATH (See Isaiah 53:5,11, 1 Peter 2:21-24, Col1:21-24 quoted below).
(1)Grace taught in the scriptures is not salvation in sin but salvation away from sin.
(2) Grace does not effect righteous works due to gratitude, but grace effects righteous works due the conversion of the heart into sinfreeness. The bible teaches the heart must be made good that it may bear good fruit (Luke 6:43-45; Matt.7:17-18, Matt.23:26 quoted below) and that good fruit cannot come from a bad unchanged heart. Remember Rom.8:7-8 tells us the carnal mind is not subject to the law of God and neither indeed can be. So that they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

(3) The grace of God that bringeth forth good works is thought by many to be due to gratitude caused from a false un-scriptural idea that salvation is Christ dying in place of us.This is salvation in sin and righteousness by works for here you have an un-transformed person seeking to do the works of the law without the born again miracle of God in transforming the heart.

My face book friends forget the traditions of men, they cannot save, and hold to the truth as revealed in the scriptures.for in it you have eternal life. As it is written "the flesh profiteth nothing, the words that i (Jesus) speak, they are spirit and they are life" -(John6:63).
Maranatha, Our Lord soon come
RELEVANT TEXTUAL QUOTES BELOW:
Isaiah 53:5 & 11
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and WITH HIS STRIPES WE ARE HEALED (see connected text below in1Peter 2:24.)
11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: BY HIS KNOWLEDGE SHALL MY RIGHTEOUS SERVANT JUSTIFY MANY; for he shall bear their iniquities.

1Peter 2:21-24
21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, LEAVING US AN EXAMPLE, that ye should follow his steps:

22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:
23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:
24 Who his own self BARE OUR SINS IN HIS OWN BODY on the tree, THAT WE, BEING DEAD TO SINS, SHOULD LIVE UNTO RIGHTEOUSNESS: BY WHOSE STRIPES YE WERE HEALED.

Col.1:21-23
21 And YOU, THAT WERE SOMETIME ALIENATED AND ENEMIES IN YOUR MIND BY WICKED WORKS, yet now hath he reconciled

22 In the body of his flesh THROUGH DEATH, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
23 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;
Luke 6:43-45
43 For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
44 For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.
45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

Matt.7:17-18
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

Rom.8:7-8
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

Matt.23:26-27
26 Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.
27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.

Note in the picture below grace empowered righteous works in the thief on the cross, as his righteous thoughts were shown forth in righteous words. His words being a fruit of His conversion taking place as a result of the knowledge shown forth from the suffering of Christ on the cross. As it is written by His knowledge shall my Righteous servant justify many (Isaiah 53:11).

WHAT OUR INQUIRY ABOUT OURSELVES SHOULD BE?

WHAT OUR INQUIRY ABOUT OURSELVES  SHOULD BE? We are in the very last days, we are told that the last controversy will be very short. “We are standing on the threshold of great and solemn events. Prophecies are fulfilling. The last great conflict will be short, but terrible. Old controversies will be revived. New controversies will arise. We have a great work to do. Our ministerial work must not cease. The last warning must be given to the world. There is a special power in the presentation of the truth at the present time. How long will it last? Only a little while.” Ellen G. White, Selected Messages bk. 3, pg. 419. And in view of the lateness of time, what should be the inquiry of everyone? We are told: “The inquiry of everyone should be ‘whose am I? To whom do I owe allegiance? Is my heart renewed? Is my soul reformed? Are my sins forgiven? Will they be blotted out when the time of refreshing shall come?” Ibid, pg. 419. We must needs examine ourselves to see if we are

DID ELLEN G. WHITE EVER CALL THE S.D.A. CHURCH BABYLON IN ANY WAY? BY NYRON MEDINA

In the Bible is brought to view the following statement: “And after these things I  saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was  lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying,  Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all  nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the  earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are  waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. And I heard another voice  from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her  sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” Revelation 18:1-4. Of this Scripture  we are told that it speaks about the Church, fallen because of sins. “In amazement  they [the people] hear the testimony that Babylon is the church,
