EVIDENCES SHOWING THE TWO SIDES OF THE LAW

The law always existed. Selected Messages, Bk. 1 pg 222; Ps 119:152
It was worded differently in heaven. “ The law of God existed before man was created. It was adapted to the condition of holy beings; even angels were governed by it. After the Fall, the principles of righteousness were unchanged. Nothing was taken from the law; not one of its holy precepts could be improved. And as it had existed from the beginning, so will it continue to exist throughout the ceaseless ages of eternity. “ Concerning thy testimonies,” says the psalmist, “ I have known of old that thou hast founded them for ever.” (Ps 119:152). Ibid, pg 220; Christ in His Sanctuary pg. 20.
It is a transcript of God’s Nature of Love. “ The Law which is a transcript of His character, no one need fail to understand. The words written by the finger of God on tables of stone so perfectly reveal His will concerning His people that none need make any mistake. The laws of His kingdom were definitely made known, to be afterward revealed to the people of all nations and tongues as the principles of His government.” S.M. Bk. 1 pg 225; Patriarchs and Prophets , pg.21
It was worded in its prohibitory side from Mt. Sinai (Ex 20; Gal 3:17).
It was not made that way for a righteous man ( Rom 3:19, 1 Tim 1:9,10).
The law is actually spiritual (Rom 7:14).
It is a transcript of God’s nature. It is Love . (Rom 13:10) S.M. Bk. 1 pg 225; Patriarchs and Prophets pg 22.
The law has two sides, the physical side and the spiritual side S.M. BK 1 Pg.235; Rom 7:10.
The physical side is the law of works while the spiritual side is love—the principles of God’s nature.
The physical side of the law only condemns ( Rom 3:19; Rom 4:15; Gal 3:10).
The spiritual side of the law converts the soul, freeing it from the condemnation of the physical side (Ps 19:7,8; Rom 8:2).
Jots and tittles will change from the law when all the controversy about sin is finished (Matt 5:18).
The law is forever S.M BK 1 pg 211, 239; Ps 111:7,8.
The hidden principles behind all events is the fulfillment or breaking of the Spiritual Law!
God is righteousness Jer 23:6
The law is righteousness Ps 119:172.
This it is not that God is a transcript of his law, but rather the law is a transcript of God’s Nature of Love.
God is Love. 1 John 4:8,16.
The Law is Love. Rom 13:8-10
Thus the Law is a transcript of the divine nature of Love. 1 John 4:7; 1 John 5:3
God must dwell in our hearts 1 John 3:24; 1 John 4:12, 13, 15, 16

  2. The law is indeed spiritual. And this law has two sides. The spiritual and the physical. The physical condemns and the spiritual side converts. The law of God is a transcript of the love of God! Amen!

WHAT OUR INQUIRY ABOUT OURSELVES SHOULD BE?

WHAT OUR INQUIRY ABOUT OURSELVES  SHOULD BE? We are in the very last days, we are told that the last controversy will be very short. “We are standing on the threshold of great and solemn events. Prophecies are fulfilling. The last great conflict will be short, but terrible. Old controversies will be revived. New controversies will arise. We have a great work to do. Our ministerial work must not cease. The last warning must be given to the world. There is a special power in the presentation of the truth at the present time. How long will it last? Only a little while.” Ellen G. White, Selected Messages bk. 3, pg. 419. And in view of the lateness of time, what should be the inquiry of everyone? We are told: “The inquiry of everyone should be ‘whose am I? To whom do I owe allegiance? Is my heart renewed? Is my soul reformed? Are my sins forgiven? Will they be blotted out when the time of refreshing shall come?” Ibid, pg. 419. We must needs examine ourselves to see if we are

DID ELLEN G. WHITE EVER CALL THE S.D.A. CHURCH BABYLON IN ANY WAY? BY NYRON MEDINA

In the Bible is brought to view the following statement: “And after these things I  saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was  lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying,  Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all  nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the  earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are  waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. And I heard another voice  from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her  sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” Revelation 18:1-4. Of this Scripture  we are told that it speaks about the Church, fallen because of sins. “In amazement  they [the people] hear the testimony that Babylon is the church,
