THE GRACE OF GOD

THE GRACE OF GOD (which is FORGIVENESS which we are told cleanses us of all unrighteousness - 1John 1:9) EMPOWERS US TO ABOUND TO EVERY GOOD WORK (see 2Cor.9:8), GRACE IS NOT GOD CHANGING HIS ATTITUDE TO THE SINNER WHILE LEAVING THEM HELPLESSLY IN SIN, THE CARNAL MIND IS ENMITY AGAINST GOD, IT IS NOT SUBJECT TO THE GOOD WORKS OF THE LAW, AND CANNOT PLEASE GOD (Rom.8:8-9). SO FOR GOD TO CHANGE HIS ATTITUDE AND SEE THE PERSON AS JUST AND PLEASING TO HIM GOD MUST REMOVE THE CARNAL MIND AND REPLACE IT WITH THE SPIRITUAL MIND. THIS HE DOES BY HIS GRACE THOUGH FAITH, AND IN THIS WAY EMPOWERS THE PERSON UNTO GOOD WORKS (See Eph.2:8,10).
2Cor.9:8
8 And God is able to make all GRACE abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to EVERY GOOD WORK:

Eph.2:8,10
8 For by GRACE are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto GOOD WORKS, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

NOTE: THERE IS RENEWING GRACE AND SANCTIFYING GRACE THAT ALLOWS US TO OBTAIN AND MAINTAIN RIGHTEOUSNESS WITHIN. BASED ON THESE GRACES WE OBTAIN JUDICIAL GRACE IN THE INVESTIGATIVE JUDGEMENT WHEN OUR RECORD OF PAST SINS ARE BLOTTED OUT (Acts 3:19).
Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.
Note the the time of refreshing is the time of the later rain, and at this time the names of the living righteous begin to come up in the Investigative Judgement.

WHAT OUR INQUIRY ABOUT OURSELVES SHOULD BE?

WHAT OUR INQUIRY ABOUT OURSELVES  SHOULD BE? We are in the very last days, we are told that the last controversy will be very short. “We are standing on the threshold of great and solemn events. Prophecies are fulfilling. The last great conflict will be short, but terrible. Old controversies will be revived. New controversies will arise. We have a great work to do. Our ministerial work must not cease. The last warning must be given to the world. There is a special power in the presentation of the truth at the present time. How long will it last? Only a little while.” Ellen G. White, Selected Messages bk. 3, pg. 419. And in view of the lateness of time, what should be the inquiry of everyone? We are told: “The inquiry of everyone should be ‘whose am I? To whom do I owe allegiance? Is my heart renewed? Is my soul reformed? Are my sins forgiven? Will they be blotted out when the time of refreshing shall come?” Ibid, pg. 419. We must needs examine ourselves to see if we...

MRS WHITE QUOTES ON THE 1888 MESSAGE REJECTION

1. “The Lord in His great mercy sent a most precious message to His people through Elders Waggoner and Jones.” — TM p. 91. 2. “God gave to His servants a testimony that presented the truth as it is in Jesus, which is the third angel’s message, in clear distinct lines” — TM p. 93. 3. “The message of the gospel of His grace was to be given to the church in clear and distinct lines, that the world should no longer say that Seventh-Day Adventists talk the law, the law, but do not teach or believe Christ. The efficacy of the blood of Christ was to be presented to the people with freshness and power.” — TM p. 92. 4. “This is the very work which the Lord designs that the message He has given His servants, shall perform in the heart and mind of every human agent….God gave to His messengers just what the people needed.” — TM p. 95. 5. “The Lord would have these grand themes studied in our churches, and if every church member shall give entrance to the word of God it will give light and...

IMPUTED AND IMPARTED RIGHTEOUSNESS EXPLAINED By Nyron Medina

IMPUTED AND IMPARTED RIGHTEOUSNESS  EXPLAINED By Nyron Medina Statement of the case 1. Imputed and imparted righteousness are usually seen as different things in apostate  theology; they are presented as happening either successively or at the very same time,  but they are presented as two different salvific functions.  “In this most illuminating paragraph, the writer traces two distinct phases in the process  of our salvation—two complementary aspects of the plan of redemption—which are in a  certain sense successive, but at the same time simultaneous; two different operations of  the same righteousness of Christ, which alone can satisfy the demands of divine justice  and make saints of us. Let us analyze in outline form these two phases:  A. THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF CHRIST BY WHICH WE ARE JUSTIFIED.  1. It is imputed to us, which is, credited, granted freely without our earning it.  2. It provides our r...
