EXCERPTS FROM THE BOOKLET "THE FOURTH OFFICE: By Nyron Medina.

1. The form in which the first sin in God’s
universe came was in Lucifer—a creation—seeking to be God with God. Isaiah 14:12-14.

There is but one God numerically. Galatians 3:20; James 2:19.
God does not need a “god” with Him to do
anything. Isaiah 43:10-12; Isaiah 44:24; Isaiah 45:12,18.

God tells us that there is no God but God only. Isaiah 44:6,8; Isaiah 45:21,22.
This one God is spirit. This means that He is not matter which is created. (To the word “spirit” we cannot imagine a form or creation). John 4:24.
6. This one God, who is Spirit, dwells in three persons. The persons-forms are not gods. This spiritual science is presented to us in the lessons of Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:19.
7. We know of the three persons in which God is identified, by the fact that the Bible shows us following.
a. The Ancient of Days—the first person
is identified as God. (Daniel 7:13;
1 Thessalonians 1:1).
b. The Son is also identified as God in the
Bible. Hebrews 1:8-12.
c. The Holy Spirit is called YHWH which is God. 2 Corinthians 3:17.

So there are three persons in whom the divine Nature, God, dwells as a statute. 1 John 5:7.
9. God dwells in these three persons with His three offices of deity.
a. The office of the Father is Will. John 5:30; John 6:38,39; Luke 22:42.
b. The office of the Word or Son is that of
Mediator or unfolder of deity. (Hebrews 12:24; John 1:18).
c. The office of the Holy Spirit is that of
Creative Agent. The Holy Spirit creates the thing that is revealed. Genesis 1:1,2; Job 33:4; Psalms 104:30.

10. These offices are offices of deity. Only God, being God, can wield them.
a. Only God can be Will for all. Hebrews 10:7,9; 1 Thessalonians 4:3; Galatians 1:4.
b. Only God can reveal God. Isaiah 43:11,12; Isaiah 48:17.
c. Only God can create. 1 Peter 4:19; Isaiah 40:28.

11. The office held by Jesus the second person is that of Mediator or unfolder. (1 Timothy 2:5; Matthew 11:27).
Jesus can only hold that office of Mediator, because, as the second person, He is how God reveals Himself. (The following prophecy of the Word/Jesus reveals this). Isaiah 48:16,17.
The Holy Spirit as Creative agency also has
a divine office like that of the Word/Jesus,
the second person. He reveals, but His
revelation takes from Jesus to reveal the
actual experience in the mind (a form of
creating). John 16:13,14; John 14:26.

Thus the Spirit is called the Spirit of Christ, because His knowledge put in the mind (a form of creating) is Christ coming to the
person. (Romans 8:9; John 14:16-18).

15. This is why we are told that both the Holy Spirit and Jesus/the Word intercedes (which is mediating) for us. Because the third office of deity is a type of the second office of deity, but with the work of creating the revelation.

WHAT OUR INQUIRY ABOUT OURSELVES SHOULD BE?

WHAT OUR INQUIRY ABOUT OURSELVES  SHOULD BE? We are in the very last days, we are told that the last controversy will be very short. “We are standing on the threshold of great and solemn events. Prophecies are fulfilling. The last great conflict will be short, but terrible. Old controversies will be revived. New controversies will arise. We have a great work to do. Our ministerial work must not cease. The last warning must be given to the world. There is a special power in the presentation of the truth at the present time. How long will it last? Only a little while.” Ellen G. White, Selected Messages bk. 3, pg. 419. And in view of the lateness of time, what should be the inquiry of everyone? We are told: “The inquiry of everyone should be ‘whose am I? To whom do I owe allegiance? Is my heart renewed? Is my soul reformed? Are my sins forgiven? Will they be blotted out when the time of refreshing shall come?” Ibid, pg. 419. We must needs examine ourselves to see if we are

DID ELLEN G. WHITE EVER CALL THE S.D.A. CHURCH BABYLON IN ANY WAY? BY NYRON MEDINA

In the Bible is brought to view the following statement: “And after these things I  saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was  lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying,  Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all  nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the  earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are  waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. And I heard another voice  from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her  sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” Revelation 18:1-4. Of this Scripture  we are told that it speaks about the Church, fallen because of sins. “In amazement  they [the people] hear the testimony that Babylon is the church,
