YHWH VS. ALLAH

(1) Yhwh was the name of the true God before the great Flood, because we see that the descendants of Enos called upon the name of YHWH. Gen,4:26
(2) The first worship alter built after the flood by Noah was built unto YHWH for worship. Thus Noah worshipped YHWH as the only true God. Gen.8:20
(3) Noah even presented YHWH as the God that his son Shem worshipped. Gen.9:26
(4) Abraham preached that YHWH was the most high God who possessed the earth. Gen.14:22
(5) It was YHWH that Abraham believed and was justified, nothing was said about an “Allah” Gen.15:6
(6) Abraham called on Yhwh (not Allah) as the eternal God Gen.21:33
(7) Even Abraham’s servant knew that his master’s God was called YHWH Gen.24:42,48
(8) Abraham’s promised son Isaac was even led by YHWH, Thus YHWH was his God Gen.26:1-3
(9) Even Jacob who was Isaac’s son, worshipped none but YHWH, and it is to him that YHWH invented the term “YHWH God of Abraham and God of Jacob.” Gen.28:13
(10) YHWH later identified himself unto Moses as the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Ex.3:4-6
(11) Then YHWH told Moses that he was the I AM , and that he was YHWH the God of Abraham , Isaac and Jacob , and YHWH was the name he was to be remembered by, because it was his name forever unto all generations. Ex.3:14, 15, 16.
(12) YHWH was the God of the Hebrews (or Israelites) not the Arabs. Ex.3:18
(13) Jesus himself on the earth revealed that the first of all commandments was that Yhwh God is numerically one YHWH. MK.12:28-30
(14) Here is what Islam tells us about their god. We are told:
“Allah is the proper and personal name applied to the one true god. Nothing else can be called Allah. The term has no plural or gender unlike the English word “god” which can be made both plural and feminine (i.e. gods/goddess). The unique usage of “Allah” as a personal name of god is a reflection of Islam’s emphasis on the purity of the belief in one god.” The Oneness of god in Islam,p.2.
(15) But that statement is false for a number of reasons. Here are just some of them.
(a) The name applied to the one true God by which he is to be known for all generations is YHWH. Ex.3:15,16
(b) YHWH is the name of the true God that does not share his glory with graven images or any one. Isa.42:8
(c) But Allah was a pagan god in Arabia known to Arabs before Muhammed. His uncle’s name was Abdullah(meaning “servant of Allah)
(d) There is a female way of saying Allah, it is Allat (the goddess)
“Have ye seen (AL) Lat, and Uzza. “Quran 53:19.
(e) Another major proper name for Allah is Rahman as used in the Quran.
“Yet do they reject (him) [Rahman] the most gracious!” Quran13:30
“Did we appoint any deities other thsn (Allah) [Rahman] most gracious, to be
Worshipped?” Quran43:45.
“And (Allah) [Rahman] most gracious sends no sort of revelation….”
Quran36:15
(f) There is a pluralness of Allah although he is called “one”. This seems to be a united oneness and not a numerical oneness. Allah is called “we”.
“Or that we created angels female….” Quran37:150.
“We have created….” Quran 56:35.
(g) The pluralness of Allah is confirmed because he is also called “the creators” (plural).
“Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the best of Creators…” Quran37:125.
“Is it ye who create it , or are we the creators?” Quran56:59.
(16) We are told that Allah begets not, this is a rejection of Jesus as the only begotten of God. Jn.1:14 “Say: He Allah is one. Allah is he on whom all depend. He begets not, nor is he begotten. And none is like him.” Quran112:1-4
(17) Why does the religion of Islam reject that God could beget a son? Because they think he must have a wife and have copulation to produce a child. Here is what they say.
“To him is due the primal origin of the heavens and the earth: How can he have a son when he hath no consort?” Quran6:101
(18) It is true that god is not begotten. But it is silly to say that the Almighty God must have a consort (wife) so that he can have a son. God’s son did not come from sexual intercourse by God upon Mary; it was by his divine miracle through the Holy Spirit. This process is why Jesus was called the son of God, (He is not called son because his body was generated by some form of copulation). Luke.1:31, 32, 35
(19) Thus the logic for Islam’s rejection that is the son of God is flawed and fasle. Jesus is the Son of God because the production of his body was by miracle from God, not from some form of copulation. Matt1:18-23
(20) Islam tells us the following claim “Allah has no partners, no equals and no rivals.” The oneness of God in Islam,P.2
(21) In the Bible God tells us the following about Himself:
I. God is numerically one.Gal.3:20, Eph4:6
II. God is invisible 1Tim.6:15-16 , ROM.1:20
III. Divine 2pe1:4 , Rom.1:20
IV. Spirit Jn,4:24
V. Nature (Gal4:6 , 2Pet1:4)
VI. Love 1Jn.4:8,16
(22) Scripture explains that this one divine nature dwells in the person of the Father , Son and Holy Spirit, this Jesus showed us . 2Cor.5:19
(23) This one God has the divine offices of:
(1) Will Rom.12:2
(2) Mediator (Explainer) Isa43:12
(3) Creative Agency Gen.1:1
(24) The one divine nature dwells in the three persons divesting his divine offices in the three persons the following way.
(a) The First person called the father has the divine offices of will through the indwelling and divestment of God. Jn,5:30 , Jn.6:39
(b) The second person called the Son/Jesus has the divine office of mediator or revealer through the indwelling and divestment of God. Jn1:18 , Heb.12:24
(c) The Third person or the Holy Spirit that cannot be seen has the divine office of creative agency. Ps104:30
(25) Thus when it is said that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit is God, Christianity, by This, never teaches three gods. Here is the real interpretative fact.
(a) The Father is God because the one Divine Nature dwells in his person with the divine power will.
(b) The son is God because the same one Divine Nature dwells in his person with the divine function of revealer or unfolding god.
(c) The Holy Spirit is God because the same one Divine Nature dwells in His person with the Divine power of Creative Agency.
(26) No one in Christianity teaches that the body of Jesus is god. Jesus said that his flesh profits us nothing; this cannot be said of god. JN.6:63
(27) Thus the bodies of the father , son and spirit are not God , God is the one, invisible, Divine, Spirit, Nature, Love that dwells particularly and uniquely in the three persons. (JN.4:24, Col.1:15)
(28) This comes to the issue of having partners with god. When the Bible tells us that Jesus created all things ….. Col.1:15-18, Jn.1:3
(29) Or when we are told that God through His son created the worlds… Heb.1:1-2
(30) It does not mean that God had partners to create the world or to help him create. He said that he created everything by Himself. Is.44:24, Is.45:12, 18
(31) Thus it is the one, invisible, divine, spirit, nature, love that created all things, it is the one God who is spirit that created all things, using the persons through which he (The one God) create. Gen.1:26
(32) Even in the Quran Allah is called the “we” (plural) that created.
“Or that we created the angels female” Quran37:150
(33) The Muslims tract tells that..
“Allah created everything without any assistance. Ibid, p.2
(34) But Allah calls himself creators (plural). What does that mean?
“Or that we created the angels female” Quran37:150
“Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the best of creators” Quran 37:125
“It is ye who create it, or are we the creators?” Quran56:59
(35) The only sense we can make of this is what Muhammad was told to recite about Allah. It says about “chiefs on high” and the “Exalted Assembly”. This makes the one Allah a united one and not a numerical one.
“Say: That is a message supreme (above all), from which ye do turn away! No knowledge have I of the Chiefs on high, when they discuss (matter) among themselves. Only this has been revealed to me that I am to give warning plainly and publicly.” Quran38:67-70
“(So) they should not strain their ears in the direction of the Exalted Assembly but be cast away from every side” Quran37:8
(36) We need to understand that following facts from the Bible
(a) Jesus did not assist the father in creating all things.
(b) It was God himself, the one, invisible, spirit in the three persons that created all things.
(c) The persons as persons did not create anything at all.
(d) Rather it is the one spirit that created all things by himself. Is44:24.
(37) Again, the tract tells us the following.
“Allah is worshipped directly without anyone or anything acting as an intermediary.” Ibid, p.2.
“There is nothing to prevent a person from calling directly upon Allah and asking for his help and forgiveness. Allah leaves all who praise and call upon him. There is no “middle man” in Islam; everyone has uninterrupted and direct access to god” Ibid,p.5
(38) Those statements are thinly veiled attacks upon what is falsely taught as Jesus being the mediator thus the one through whom one has access to God. But this is a catholic idea and completely untrue and unbiblical. Christians may directly call upon the name of God YHWH for salvation, because they are calling upon God for salvation. Rom.10:9-13.
(39) Jesus is not an intermediary or middle man to us access God. Only God can make man access him. It was God himself in the body of Christ that was reconciling the world to himself. 2cor.5:19
(40) The role of Jesus as mediator needs to be understood. Observe what this scripture tells us. Jn.14:6
(41) Here is the meaning of mediator from the dictionary
“Mediator one who mediates between parties at strife.” The Wordsworth concise English Dictionary, p. 598
(42) Here is what it means to mediate.
“Mediate …. Intervening indirect; related or acting through something intervening,- to interpose between parties as a friend of each; to act as intermediary; to intercede; to be or act as a met only with the angel Gabriel whom he claimed to see. How does anyone know that the angel was truly Gabriel, and that he rightly spoke of the true God? We have no way of knowing, plus we can say that Muhammad never met with Allah nor had direct access to him. Here is what we are told in the Hadith
“Narrated Aisha. Al-Harith bin Hisham asked the prophet, “How does the divine inspiration come to you? “ He replied, “In all these ways: The angel sometimes comes to me with a voice which resembles the sound of a ringing bell, and when this state abandons me, I remember what the Angel has said, and this type of divine inspiration is hardest on me; and sometimes the Angel comes to me in the shape of a man and talks to me, and I understand and remember what he says.” Sahih Al-Bukhari, Vol.4, p.293
“Narrated Abu Salama: Aisha said that the Prophet said to her. “ O Aisha this is Gabriel and he sends his (greetings) salutations to you.” Aisha said, “Salutations (greeting) to him, and Allah’s mercy and blessings be on him, “and addressing the Prophet she said, “You see what I don’t see.” Ibid, p.294
(56) The point in all these statements is that only Muhammad alone could see the angel Gabriel who allegedly spoke to him for Allah. How do we know that he really saw Gabriel, and how do we know if this god Allah is the true one that he spoke of? We have no confirmation of this. All we have to do is to take Muhammad’s word as true and trust solely in him and no one else. Why is this so? Here’s why?
(a) Muhammad alone saw Gabriel, he alone was spoken to, and he alone received his knowledge in a way that could not be corroborated.
(b) No “prophet” before Muhammad spoke of an “Allah” as the only true God.
(c) No “prophet” came after Muhammad with the same revelation the same way to prove anything.
(d) Thus one has to blindly trust only Muhammad for knowledge, for a view of the “true” God, and for an understanding as to how to worship him.
(e) This makes Muhammad a mediator two steps away from Allah whom he never personally met but claimed to know from another source.
(57) All this comes down to the reason why there needed to be a body of the father and of Jesus that could be seen with the naked eye by a creation that could be seen. Here is what the prophet Daniel saw. Dan.7:13
(58) Although the angel Gabriel met Daniel and did speak to him, this was not enough; he actually met the second person in a theophanic form that could be seen. Dan.8:16-19; Dan.9:21, 22; Dan10:4-16
(59) Even John to whom the book of Revelation was given about five hundred years before Muhammad had a meeting with Gabriel, but not him alone, but also with Jesus himself in his Glorified body. Rev1:1, 10, 11-18.
(60) The need to see some creation in which God himself dwelt specifically is necessary. Moses saw a burning bush that talked. Ex3:1-6
(61) Moses even saw the back parts of the body in which YHWH God dwelt; this shows the need to see a body in which God exclusively dwelt, since God is invisible and is spirit. Ex33:18, 20-23
(62) Even the seventy elders in Israel saw the body that God dwelt in. But Allah has nothing of the sort. Ex.24:9, 10
(63) Daniel saw this also Dan7:9, 10
(64) Ezekiel also saw the body of God in which he dwelt. Eze.1:24-28
(65) Here is a summary of what we have seen
(a) God’s special manifested body in which he specifically dwelt was seen by Moses and many of the prophets of old.
(b) The need to see the body or bodies in which God, who is unseen, dwells is important to keep away a false idea of God from the hearts of created intelligence. This idea is that God who is spirit and unseen is a pantheistic all-pervading God.
(c) This pantheism is the danger that awaits all who do not see a body or bodies in which God specifically dwells, but are not God himself.
(66) Because Islam has this problem of a disembodied God thus he cannot be seen, God is presented as a Pantheistic God in the Quran.
“To Allah belong the east and the west whithersoever ye turn, there is the presence of Allah. For Allah is all-pervading, All-knowing.” Quran2:115
(67) But in Christianity, even though the people of God see two bodies, that of the Father and son like Daniel, they do not worship the bodies of the first and second persons as God, but, in maturity, they worship the one, invisible, divine, spirit, nature, love, who is God. Rev.5:13; Rev.21:5, 6

WHAT OUR INQUIRY ABOUT OURSELVES SHOULD BE?

WHAT OUR INQUIRY ABOUT OURSELVES  SHOULD BE? We are in the very last days, we are told that the last controversy will be very short. “We are standing on the threshold of great and solemn events. Prophecies are fulfilling. The last great conflict will be short, but terrible. Old controversies will be revived. New controversies will arise. We have a great work to do. Our ministerial work must not cease. The last warning must be given to the world. There is a special power in the presentation of the truth at the present time. How long will it last? Only a little while.” Ellen G. White, Selected Messages bk. 3, pg. 419. And in view of the lateness of time, what should be the inquiry of everyone? We are told: “The inquiry of everyone should be ‘whose am I? To whom do I owe allegiance? Is my heart renewed? Is my soul reformed? Are my sins forgiven? Will they be blotted out when the time of refreshing shall come?” Ibid, pg. 419. We must needs examine ourselves to see if we are

DID ELLEN G. WHITE EVER CALL THE S.D.A. CHURCH BABYLON IN ANY WAY? BY NYRON MEDINA

In the Bible is brought to view the following statement: “And after these things I  saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was  lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying,  Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all  nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the  earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are  waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. And I heard another voice  from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her  sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” Revelation 18:1-4. Of this Scripture  we are told that it speaks about the Church, fallen because of sins. “In amazement  they [the people] hear the testimony that Babylon is the church,

IMPUTED AND IMPARTED RIGHTEOUSNESS EXPLAINED By Nyron Medina

IMPUTED AND IMPARTED RIGHTEOUSNESS  EXPLAINED By Nyron Medina Statement of the case 1. Imputed and imparted righteousness are usually seen as different things in apostate  theology; they are presented as happening either successively or at the very same time,  but they are presented as two different salvific functions.  “In this most illuminating paragraph, the writer traces two distinct phases in the process  of our salvation—two complementary aspects of the plan of redemption—which are in a  certain sense successive, but at the same time simultaneous; two different operations of  the same righteousness of Christ, which alone can satisfy the demands of divine justice  and make saints of us. Let us analyze in outline form these two phases:  A. THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF CHRIST BY WHICH WE ARE JUSTIFIED.  1. It is imputed to us, which is, credited, granted freely without our earning it.  2. It provides our right to heaven. It is the only merit we can claim.
