Faith is the spiritual-knowledge about the invisible-God, and His invisible things, which is only revealed to us by His Spirit.
Faith is knowledge-evidence of things not seen but is revealed to us by the Spirit' as we are told in Heb.11:1 - Faith is the evidence of things not seen. The Spirit revealing knowledge-evidence of things unseen (which is faith) is described in 1 Cor.2:9-14
9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
This tells us that evidence of things not seen which is Faith is actually revealed truth. The Holy Spirit reveals knowledge-evidence to those that love him that convinces or persuades their minds of things not seen and that is Faith.
By that knowledge evidence (which is Faith) we are convinced of the will God that we may be instructed of God. See 1 Cor.2:16
16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ.
Gal.2:20 show also that the saved live by the faith of the Son God which is to being instructed by faith.
Ga.2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Since that which a person lives by or is instructed by is faith, the knowledge-evidence that we are told instructs the saved in 1 Cor.9-15 is Faith. So Faith is the revealed truths.
