CAN WE TRULY LIVE Without SINNING? YES, CERTAINLY! Nyron Medina

1. Some claim that we can never live without sinning while in this flesh upon the earth.

“Every believer is assured of deliverance from indwelling sin through Christ Jesus, but not while living in this body of sin … Paul looked for deliverance from indwelling sin but not while in the flesh, and neither can we!” David N. Steele and Curtis C. Thomas, Romans, An Interpretative Outline, p. 61.
To see the falsehood of this teaching we need to understand first of all that God is not in the thoughts of the wicked. Psalms 10:4,5; Romans 1:28-31.
Instead, the darkness of error is in their hearts. Ephesians 4:17-19.
Men sin from the evil thoughts of the flesh in their minds. Romans 8:5-8.
It is the idols of these thoughts in the heart that are themselves sin, and causes man to sin. (Ezekiel 14:3-5; Mark 7:21-23),
7. In making man sinfree lby dealing with his sin problem, God must first change the inner thoughts of man dealing with the cleansing of what is within him. Matthew 23:25,26; Acts 8:21,22.
The first work that God does upon the penitent believer is to justify Him, this is the removal of all the idols from the mind of the person. Ezekiel 36:25,26.
This justification is the gift of the Holy Spirit who is God, into the mind of the believer. (Galatians 3:7-9,14; Galatians 4:6; John 4:24).
God the Spirit in the heart of the person thus becomes the source of obedience to the Law of God or the source of Love to our fellowmen. Ezekiel 36:27; 1 John 3:24.
11. Since the Spirit is Truth, men who are converted live holy and without sin because they obey the type of doctrine that was delivered into their hearts. Romans 6:16-18,22.
This is the same as saying that obedience to the Law of God is achieved only by Faith which is the revealed Truths or doctrines of God. (James 2:17,18,20-22,26; 1 Timothy 4:6).
Thus we can live without sin, sinless living is possible and is a reality in this life in the flesh; because, by the word of God in the mind, we are made to obey the Law of God thus kept from sinning. Psalms 119:1-11; 1 Corinthians 15:34; 1 John 3:9.
The following chart illustrates exactly what it means for the believer to be truly sinless.
CONCLUSION

The conclusion that we can arrive at from this study is the fact that, not only does the Bible teach the possibility of sinfeeeness, it is in reality the real essence of true Christianity, it is what it means to be a follower of God. Sinfreenesss is not a punctuated possibility, it is not something we reach only when we have relentlessly striven for it for many, many years, and still may not reach it. Sinfreeness is a gift of God, it is the real gift promised by God that is characterized as salvation from sin. The Plan God has instituted do make us sinfree by correcting our internal spiritual disfunction and the external disfunction that results. Any religion that teaches sinfrneeess as impossible at this time should be regarded as nothing else but a Satanic false religion.

WHAT OUR INQUIRY ABOUT OURSELVES SHOULD BE?

WHAT OUR INQUIRY ABOUT OURSELVES  SHOULD BE? We are in the very last days, we are told that the last controversy will be very short. “We are standing on the threshold of great and solemn events. Prophecies are fulfilling. The last great conflict will be short, but terrible. Old controversies will be revived. New controversies will arise. We have a great work to do. Our ministerial work must not cease. The last warning must be given to the world. There is a special power in the presentation of the truth at the present time. How long will it last? Only a little while.” Ellen G. White, Selected Messages bk. 3, pg. 419. And in view of the lateness of time, what should be the inquiry of everyone? We are told: “The inquiry of everyone should be ‘whose am I? To whom do I owe allegiance? Is my heart renewed? Is my soul reformed? Are my sins forgiven? Will they be blotted out when the time of refreshing shall come?” Ibid, pg. 419. We must needs examine ourselves to see if we...

MRS WHITE QUOTES ON THE 1888 MESSAGE REJECTION

1. “The Lord in His great mercy sent a most precious message to His people through Elders Waggoner and Jones.” — TM p. 91. 2. “God gave to His servants a testimony that presented the truth as it is in Jesus, which is the third angel’s message, in clear distinct lines” — TM p. 93. 3. “The message of the gospel of His grace was to be given to the church in clear and distinct lines, that the world should no longer say that Seventh-Day Adventists talk the law, the law, but do not teach or believe Christ. The efficacy of the blood of Christ was to be presented to the people with freshness and power.” — TM p. 92. 4. “This is the very work which the Lord designs that the message He has given His servants, shall perform in the heart and mind of every human agent….God gave to His messengers just what the people needed.” — TM p. 95. 5. “The Lord would have these grand themes studied in our churches, and if every church member shall give entrance to the word of God it will give light and...

EGW QUOTE ON SINFUL NATURE

We are told that Jesus had our “sinful nature.” “He took upon Him our sinful nature.” Ellen G. White, Signs of the Times, 7/30/02. “In him was no guile nor sinfulness,….yet He took upon Him our sinful nature.” Ibid. From what we have just read, we see that the term “sinful nature” for Mrs. White does not mean that the person has sin for she says that Jesus was sinfree. But what does sinful nature mean that the person? A. It means human nature affected by sin not infected with  sin. B. It means human nature weakened by sin, but not resided by sin. C. This is the Mind, Emotions/Passions, Flesh and Experience weakened by sin, but not necessarily indwelt by sin. D. It is quite true that man’s sinful nature, a nature weakened by sin, in the average sinner may have sin in it. So sinful nature for the sinner in sin is a nature weakened by sin, but the man has sin in this nature. E. This means the man has sin in his Mind, Passions/Emotions, Experience, and sin in his flesh is sin in his Mi...
