WHO HAS THE TRUTH? By Nyron Medina

WHO HAS THE TRUTH?
By Nyron Medina
“How do you know which is the true religion?” This is the BIG question many people are asking. There are so many
religions and they keep multiplying. This has caused much confusion. People do not know who has the truth. Another
vocal class claims that all religions have the truth and that many are the ways that lead to God. They say that all
religions serve only one God, but in their own way. But this claim is NOT TRUE at all. Jesus Himself said” “I am the way,
the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me.” Jn 14:6. This excludes all other religions and narrows
down our choice to Christianity. Peter, Jesus Apostle said: “… Jesus Christ of Nazareth… neither is there salvation in any
other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.” Acts 4:12.
Now if all religions lead to one God, then Christianity is certainly excluded by its teachings, for why would that one God
set Christianity apart as the ONLY TRUTH of Salvation? Even within the brackets of Christianity we have so many
different religions. How can we know which one is the truth?
We need not dismay. If God is a God of the Truth unfolding Himself to man, He must show Himself. He must reveal the
truth to us. God says: “To the Law and to the Testimony; if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is
no light in them.” Isa 8:20. “He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.”
Prov 28:9. Here we are told that without the law of God there is only darkness and religion must speak according to the
law if they are to have light. That means they are not to “…Break one, least of these commandments or to teach men
so… (but they are to) do and teach them…” Matt 5:19. We are even told that in those so called Christian religions where
men turn away from hearing the law of God, even their prayers are abomination to God. This narrows down the choice
of true religion to those who KEEP THE LAW OF GOD. This includes the Seventh Day Sabbath because God said to Israel
(who is also spiritual …PS 73:1; Rom 2:28, 29 Gal 3:7, 29). “Verily my Sabbaths ye shall keep; for it is a sign between me
and you throughout your generations that ye may know that I am the Lord that doth sanctify you.” Ex 31:13.
This includes the Gentiles that through faith becomes spiritual Israelites (Ex 20:10; Isa 56:6-8; Rom 4:9-12). Thus the
true religion will keep the Seventh Day Sabbath, because “there remaineth therefore a rest (Sabbath) to the People of
God” Heb 4:9. So “…whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet often in one point, he is guilty of all.” Jam 2:10.
But even among the various Sabbath keeping religions, the point as to who actually keep the Sabbath in “Spirit and in
truth” Jn 4:24, will be determined by the ideological context of their teaching as they relate to the philosophy of the
Sabbathq1, because, we are to “do and teach” according to the law and not “speak against” it. God Himself said,
“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy… for in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in
them is…” Ex 20: 8-11. This is telling us that the Sabbath is also a sign of God’s Creatorship ability.
So when an alleged Sabbath keeping religion tells us that we will actually become like God…. And that we shall be able to
actually create like God then that religion though holding on to the forms of the Sabbath is teaching against the meaning
of the Sabbath and is thus not keeping it.
The same rebuke goes for any religion that exalts a phonetic sound as the name of God as if that will save. They limit
God to a sound and thus is doing away with the Creatorship. Their God is a sound of a name and not the true living God
who alone can create, and who is thus the God of the Sabbath. The fact that all religions do not serve God is made clear
by these texts which reveals that God true people are a Remnant (Isa 11:10-12; Joel 2:23-32; Rom 8:24-28; Rev 3:7-10;
Rev 14:12). Satan’s war is against those only who have the truth, hence the bible says: “And the dragon was wroth with ß
the woman and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God and have the
testimony of Jesus Christ.” Rev 12:17. The remnant keeps the Law of God, thus it is those who keep all God’s
commandments through the grace of Jesus Christ – the Remnant have the truth. THE END

WHAT OUR INQUIRY ABOUT OURSELVES SHOULD BE?

WHAT OUR INQUIRY ABOUT OURSELVES  SHOULD BE? We are in the very last days, we are told that the last controversy will be very short. “We are standing on the threshold of great and solemn events. Prophecies are fulfilling. The last great conflict will be short, but terrible. Old controversies will be revived. New controversies will arise. We have a great work to do. Our ministerial work must not cease. The last warning must be given to the world. There is a special power in the presentation of the truth at the present time. How long will it last? Only a little while.” Ellen G. White, Selected Messages bk. 3, pg. 419. And in view of the lateness of time, what should be the inquiry of everyone? We are told: “The inquiry of everyone should be ‘whose am I? To whom do I owe allegiance? Is my heart renewed? Is my soul reformed? Are my sins forgiven? Will they be blotted out when the time of refreshing shall come?” Ibid, pg. 419. We must needs examine ourselves to see if we are

DID ELLEN G. WHITE EVER CALL THE S.D.A. CHURCH BABYLON IN ANY WAY? BY NYRON MEDINA

In the Bible is brought to view the following statement: “And after these things I  saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was  lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying,  Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all  nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the  earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are  waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. And I heard another voice  from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her  sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” Revelation 18:1-4. Of this Scripture  we are told that it speaks about the Church, fallen because of sins. “In amazement  they [the people] hear the testimony that Babylon is the church,

IMPUTED AND IMPARTED RIGHTEOUSNESS EXPLAINED By Nyron Medina

IMPUTED AND IMPARTED RIGHTEOUSNESS  EXPLAINED By Nyron Medina Statement of the case 1. Imputed and imparted righteousness are usually seen as different things in apostate  theology; they are presented as happening either successively or at the very same time,  but they are presented as two different salvific functions.  “In this most illuminating paragraph, the writer traces two distinct phases in the process  of our salvation—two complementary aspects of the plan of redemption—which are in a  certain sense successive, but at the same time simultaneous; two different operations of  the same righteousness of Christ, which alone can satisfy the demands of divine justice  and make saints of us. Let us analyze in outline form these two phases:  A. THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF CHRIST BY WHICH WE ARE JUSTIFIED.  1. It is imputed to us, which is, credited, granted freely without our earning it.  2. It provides our right to heaven. It is the only merit we can claim.
