Who are God's people that keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus?
The following text gives us a consistent description of God's people:
Rev.14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and have the faith of Jesus. Rev.12:17 ...which keep the commandments of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ. Rev.19:10 ...that have the testimony of Jesus ... for the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophesy .
Many Adventist believe as taught in the 28 SDA believe that what makes them God's people is their superficial keeping of Sabbath, for an unholy person cannot keep the Sabbath and they claim they cannot be sinfree. Furthermore based on false interpretation of Rev.19:10 and 14:12 and 12:17 it is believed a theory of having the Spirit of prophesy which is the testimony of Jesus or the faith of Jesus, is what saves, where you are part of God's church, not because of the experience of Christ within, which Laodicea does not have for Christ is not within, but falsely thinking it is because the organization has the writings of Sister White among them. What good is the Spirit of prophesy if not in the heart . How could it give you endurance which is the patience of the saints to resist the Mark of the Beast.
Having the Spirit of prophesy is not just having a head knowledge of things to come. It is a present experience of the will of God in sinfreeness. The Knowledge of prophesy to be fulfilled and prophesy already fulfiiled teaches the heart how it must have the endurance of the saints of the past. For instance Rev
13:10 speaks of the patience of the saints through the faith - the revealed truths of Christ in the dark ages before the papacy received its deadly wound, while Revelation 14:12 speaks of the endurance of the saints when the mortal wound is healed. When you contemplate the events of the past with the faith from the Holy Spirit you understand how you must be like Martin Luther to stand alone, if no one will go with you, against an apostate church, to be like Huss and Jerome men who dedicated their time to the word of God and were martyred for it.
So my Facebook friends be a true Adventist keep the commandments of God and be sinfree by having the testimony of Jesus (which is the faith of Jesus or the Spirit of prophesy,) in your heart as your personal experience of sinfreeness.
