History of the change from Sabbath to Sunday

When Evangelicals refute the Sabbath tell them history supported by prophesy shows how Sabbath keeping was replaced by Sunday Exaltation.
The Bible prophesied in 2Thessalonians 2:1-12 of a falling away among the churches headed by a man that exalts himself to be God, before Christ comes. It is that falling away foretold in prophesy that caused the exaltation of Sunday in place of the keeping of the Sabbath and not Scripture.
History shows the papacy forced Christian churches to keep Sunday and outlawed the keeping of the Seventh Day Sabbath. In 321 ACB the papal bishops influenced Emperor Constantine to legislate a law that Sunday was to be kept, and in 325 ACB due to the council of Nicea, it was made law that the New Passover, or the Lord's Super; what we call "the Communion Service" was to be done on a particular Sunday each year, instead of the the 14th of the Jewish month Nisan, which was the time when it was kept generally by the Christian churches (some also kept it every Sabbath). This is synonymous with the Easter Festival done once a year in our time. Later in 364 ACB in the Council of Laodicea the keeping of the Sabbath was outlawed. Note due to the council of Nicea the dogmas of one particular church in Rome was given control over other ChristIan churches religious dogmas or doctrines by law, so what was decided in councils like the council of Laodicea became law throughout the Roman Empire.
Note however before 321 ACB the apostate Christian church in Rome had great influence over other churches, however they had not the civil authority of the state to enforce their decrees. For instance in the last decade of the second century; bishop Victor (I) in Rome commanded all Christian churches to keep the New Passover on a Sunday each year, determined by the apostate church, and assumed to disfellowship all churches that did not follow this command. Note however all the Christian churches were autonomous and did not have a central church government or a head at that time. Thus Victor (I) had to assume authority or put on a pretense of being head over the other churches. A good few churches gaved in to his pretense, but there was other influences to them giving in.
There was also the influence of Christian Gnosticism from Alexandria, Egypt influencing the church in Rome and others into keeping paganistic doctrines as Sunday exaltation. Christian Gnosticism was a blend of Greek paganism and Christianity. The Catholic Church today are proud of their beginning as being influenced by so called church fathers who mixed Greek philosophy with Christianity from Christian Gnostism, like Justin Martyr, Clement of Alexandria and Origen. In fact in the first half of the second century the Gnostic Valentinus went from Alexandria to Rome and labored some twenty years in influencing the Church of Rome into what is called Christian Gnosticism. The Christian Gnostic Basildes also had a large following at both Alexandria and Rome in that period. Hence it could be understood how a few churches due to being influenced by Christian Gnosticism in 189 ACB to 199 ACB gave in to the pretense of the bishop Victor I in Rome. Later on between 200 to 305 ACB after being influenced to have a yearly Sunday Passover the churches were influenced to have weekly Passover every Sunday. For this reason the general church service in the Catholic Church involves the Communion which they call "Mass". Thus their Communion mass service is the remnants of a yearly Sunday communion service that was initially used to initiate a weekly Sunday keeping by Christians.
It must be noted that Sabbath keeping only became unpopular and well nigh extinct in many places due to persecution by Rome's legislation of religious dogma, during the time of what is called the Constantinian Shift. Now all these intrigues in history would not have taken place if the early apostolic churches were not keeping the Seventh Day Sabbath. In fact the rallying cry of the early church of Peter's and John's time shows they were all Seventh Day Sabbath Keepers. I quote Acts 4:23-24:
"23 And being let go, they went to their own company, and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said unto them.
24 And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God, and WITH ONE ACCORD said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is"
This shows they exalted Yahweh as the God of the Sabbath and would thus be keepers of the true Sabbath.
My dear Facebook friends note the Evangelicals and gainsayers could try to fight against the Sabbath but the history is there. And their reasoning is exposed as being petty, illiterate and full of mischief and naughtiness. To those who are really sincere I hope they give themselves a chance to learn the truth by humbling themselves before God with contrition and dedication to the will of God.
As to Adventist I pray that in the same way many of you desire the Evangelicals etc. to humble themselves to see the truth, you also will humble yourself when the Spirit of truth comes to you in its ever advancing light, even to your very salvation. May Yahweh empower us all to do His bidding. Amen, and amen.

WHAT OUR INQUIRY ABOUT OURSELVES SHOULD BE?

WHAT OUR INQUIRY ABOUT OURSELVES  SHOULD BE? We are in the very last days, we are told that the last controversy will be very short. “We are standing on the threshold of great and solemn events. Prophecies are fulfilling. The last great conflict will be short, but terrible. Old controversies will be revived. New controversies will arise. We have a great work to do. Our ministerial work must not cease. The last warning must be given to the world. There is a special power in the presentation of the truth at the present time. How long will it last? Only a little while.” Ellen G. White, Selected Messages bk. 3, pg. 419. And in view of the lateness of time, what should be the inquiry of everyone? We are told: “The inquiry of everyone should be ‘whose am I? To whom do I owe allegiance? Is my heart renewed? Is my soul reformed? Are my sins forgiven? Will they be blotted out when the time of refreshing shall come?” Ibid, pg. 419. We must needs examine ourselves to see if we are

DID ELLEN G. WHITE EVER CALL THE S.D.A. CHURCH BABYLON IN ANY WAY? BY NYRON MEDINA

In the Bible is brought to view the following statement: “And after these things I  saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was  lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying,  Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all  nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the  earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are  waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. And I heard another voice  from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her  sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” Revelation 18:1-4. Of this Scripture  we are told that it speaks about the Church, fallen because of sins. “In amazement  they [the people] hear the testimony that Babylon is the church,

IMPUTED AND IMPARTED RIGHTEOUSNESS EXPLAINED By Nyron Medina

IMPUTED AND IMPARTED RIGHTEOUSNESS  EXPLAINED By Nyron Medina Statement of the case 1. Imputed and imparted righteousness are usually seen as different things in apostate  theology; they are presented as happening either successively or at the very same time,  but they are presented as two different salvific functions.  “In this most illuminating paragraph, the writer traces two distinct phases in the process  of our salvation—two complementary aspects of the plan of redemption—which are in a  certain sense successive, but at the same time simultaneous; two different operations of  the same righteousness of Christ, which alone can satisfy the demands of divine justice  and make saints of us. Let us analyze in outline form these two phases:  A. THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF CHRIST BY WHICH WE ARE JUSTIFIED.  1. It is imputed to us, which is, credited, granted freely without our earning it.  2. It provides our right to heaven. It is the only merit we can claim.
