Man was always saved/made righteous by Grace through faith. Never by works. But saved to do good works, which is law keeping. The tree must be made good that the fruit of good works will be good (Matt.12:33). God saves us and makes us good within by his indwelling power that we may do good. See also 1John 3:7 & 1 John 2:29. We are told in these verses the person that doeth righteousness is righteous even as He is righteous. And the person that doeth righteousness it is because they are born of God. Our faithfulness in submission to the Grace given to us will be judged in the end. As it is written in HEB.2:3 "How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation"
WHAT OUR INQUIRY ABOUT OURSELVES SHOULD BE? We are in the very last days, we are told that the last controversy will be very short. “We are standing on the threshold of great and solemn events. We are told: “The inquiry of everyone should be ‘whose am I? To whom do I owe allegiance? Is my heart renewed? Is my soul reformed? Are my sins forgiven?
