Examine the following text that tells us somethings about faith:

"And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus." 2Tim.3:15

We could see in the text the Knowledge of the Scriptures saves through faith and faith is in Christ.

So faith comes from a knowledge which is in Christ.

Now all knowledge from Christ is revealed by the Holy Spirit. So faith is the revealed truths of Christ unfolded by the Holy Spirit.
