Christ says "I am the way the truth and the life." Laodiceans interpret that to mean once we have Christ we don't need His doctrines to be saved." John 14:6. That is wrong sided reasoning.
Did not Bro. Paul tell us "16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee." 1John 4:16
And Bro. John said " Whosoever transgresseth and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son." 2John9
And the master Jesus said "the words that I speak to you they are spirit and they are life" John 6:63
And When Christ says to Laodicea in Revelation 3:20 "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me." It means that they need to get the true doctrines of Christ, the truths of the gospel (gold tried in the fire - Rev.3:18 & 1Peter 1:7) and abide in it as their personal experience so that He will enter the door of their heart.
However the eyesalve of Revelation 3:20 of spiritual discernment by the Holy Spirit received when you repent and believe is lacking, so blindness abounds.
And when they suppose to be wearing white raiment of Righteousness within which indicate true holiness and sinfreeness within by the life of Christ within , they wear dirty robes. And expect Christ to somehow take His White Robe and cover over their experience of filthiness that God would pretend not to see their filthiness instead of taking away their filthy robes in giving them a new holy experience - 2Cor.5:17.
Did not Yahweh say to the Angel in Zechariah 3:4 "Take away the filthy garments .... And I will clothe thee with a change of garment".
Facebook friends bare in mind the truth of God was presented to the masses by Jesus but the majority received it not because they loved not the truth that they be saved - 2Thes.2:10 but had pleasure in unrighteousnrss - 2Thes.2:12. Thus be careful to find yourself in the little company that will receive the Saviour, the King of saints into their heart. Be diligent to the truth and not Lukewarm as are typical Laodiceans.
Behold He says " I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me." Rev.3:20
P.S. The picture with the man being clothed without changing his dirty clothes is what is taught today in Laodicea and was the picture on the cover of two quarterlies.
