The Priority of Love extended to Laodicea
(EDITED VERSION) - PT 4
The salvational purpose of Christ's coming needs to be fulfilled in Laodicea. Remember the bible tells us in John 3:16-17 and I quote:
16 For God SO LOVED the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but THAT (purpose follows) the world THROUGH HIM might be saved.
The present idea of salvation is that a person is saved without being made sinfree and Holy within. Salvation is not seen to be a subjective internal experience of sinfreeness within the heart. However the messages of the bible including the special message to Laodicea teaches the necessity of Sinfreeness within to be saved. These messages also include the 1888 General Conference message of true Righteousness by faith, which to this date is being rejected in mass.
Contrary to Scripture salvation in sin doctrines abound in Laodicea in harmony with her state, for example the idea I mentioned before that salvation is Christ being killed to pay a death penalty in place of man. This idea is really salvation from punishment and not salvation from sin. There is also the idea that salvation is God crediting the righteous works of Jesus to an imagined account in heaven. These all are ideas existing where salvation is not the bible truth of being made free from sin within Rom.6:17-18.
But note the special testimony of salvation being given to Laodicea in Revelation 3:14-22 & She is being called to repent and be changed within from her wretched state to a sinfree state through the indwelling of Christ within.
Christ wants to enter the heart of Laodicea that she may live through Him - Rev.3:14-22 & John 3:16-17. Laodicea with Christ on the outside is described as being wretched and miserable, poor, blind and naked. So the purpose of Christ coming needs to be appreciated by Laodicea that their state would be changed by they living through Christ when he dwells in them.
Now only a good tree could bare good fruit Matt.7:17-18, your heart must be made good to do good, so Christ must come into your heart by His revealed truths that you may be made good in righteousness and Holiness that you may truly do righteousness (1 John 3:7). This is absolutely necessary because one shall only pass in the investigative judgement based on having a truly holy life by faith. Remember Rev.20:12 tells us the dead were judged according to the things written in the books according to their works. Those works are works done by faith - the revealed truths, as it is written the just shall live by faith. So being made good and righteous within is absolutely necessary in being saved. Thus it is necessary for the wretched state and actions of Laodicea (in fact they associate themselves with the experience of the man of Rom.7:14-25 thinking it to be a saved converted experience) to be remedied by the purpose of Christ coming in the way mentioned before.
God manifested Himself through Christ giving the revealed truths that we may live holy through Him in our heart 1 John 4:7.
However Christ is outside the heart of Laodicea knocking to come in (Rev.3:20) by the revealed truths. We accept Christ through the truths of the gospel, as it is written in - 2John 9 I quote: "He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son". So as Christ says be zealous and repent in accepting the truths of Christ especially that of the 1888 General Conference message of Righteousness by faith that He may come in.
Again I say my dear facebook friends repent and in sincerity accept the revealed truths in the many bible studies given that generally revolve around the issue of the gospel of sinfreeness by faith or Righteousness by faith (which is really sinfreeness within by the Righteousness of God in the faith making you sinfree and Holy, with the Righteousness of God being God Himself) that Christ purpose of coming in you and making you holy and sinfree by His indwelling shall be fulfilled.
