A pleasant sinfree sabbath- Read up!
"Many concepts as to what constitutes the Gospel of Christ exist today that are false, but can only be seen to be so if one is able to discern what could be false about them....Grace does not destroy obedience to the Law; rather, since Grace is meant to save us from sin, which is “transgression of the Law” 1 John 3:4, Grace must cause us to “establish the Law” Romans 3:30,31."
"Another false teaching that claims to be in the make up of the Gospel, is that when a person is saved, instead of keeping the Law, he only needs to have Love, thus this concept presents love as replacing obedience to God’s Law."
" Both love to God and love to our fellowmen are presented in the Bible as “keeping the Commandments of God.” So having love does not replace obedience to God’s Law; it is obedience to God’s Law. In the very Ten Commandments on the tables of stone, we are told that to love God is to keep His commandments (Exodus 20:6)."

EGW QUOTE ON SINFUL NATURE

We are told that Jesus had our “sinful nature.” “He took upon Him our sinful nature.” Ellen G. White, Signs of the Times, 7/30/02. “In him was no guile nor sinfulness,….yet He took upon Him our sinful nature.” Ibid. From what we have just read, we see that the term “sinful nature” for Mrs. White does not mean that the person has sin for she says that Jesus was sinfree. But what does sinful nature mean that the person? A. It means human nature affected by sin not infected with  sin. B. It means human nature weakened by sin, but not resided by sin. C. This is the Mind, Emotions/Passions, Flesh and Experience weakened by sin, but not necessarily indwelt by sin. D. It is quite true that man’s sinful nature, a nature weakened by sin, in the average sinner may have sin in it.
