THEY THAT ARE OF FAITH THE SAME ARE THE CHILDREN OF ABRAHAM AND ARE CHILDREN OF GOD. THUS FAITH GIVES US THE CHARACTER OF CHRIST AND MUST BE THE REVEALED TRUTHS OF CHRIST AND NOT BELIEVING

According to Gal3:7 and verse 26 (See quote below) it is the faith of Jesus that makes us children of God and children of Abraham. And according to Rom.8:14 they that are lead of the Spirit are the children of God. We know we are only childen of God when we have His character and His traits for this reason Christ told the pharisees they are not the children of Abraham but children of their Father the devil and the works of their father they would do (John 8:39-44 See quote below). However faith must be the reveal truths of Christ revealed by the Holy Spirit (the Holy Spirit speak not of his own but that which he hears of Christ he reveals to us,- John 16:13) that it may give you the character or the traits of Jesus, for the truths of Christ teaches us the nature of God- Love; that as we behold it we are transformed (2Cor.3:16-18). If faith is believing then it would not make sense as to how we obtain the character of Christ, because it is not an intensity of believing that justifies and makes us righteous within with Christ's character within, but the the word of truth that holifies and sanctifies us(John 17:17).
Gal.3:7 Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
Gal.3:26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
Rom.8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
John 8:39-44
39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.
40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.
41 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.
42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
John 16:13
13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
2 Corinthians 3:16-18
16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.
17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

19 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

EGW QUOTE ON SINFUL NATURE

We are told that Jesus had our “sinful nature.” “He took upon Him our sinful nature.” Ellen G. White, Signs of the Times, 7/30/02. “In him was no guile nor sinfulness,….yet He took upon Him our sinful nature.” Ibid. From what we have just read, we see that the term “sinful nature” for Mrs. White does not mean that the person has sin for she says that Jesus was sinfree.
