Introduction
1) We are told that the seven last plagues falls upon the people of the earth. Rev 16: 1.
2) The real aim of the plagues that is called the wrath of God, is the punishment of Babylon. Rev 18: 1-4.
3) We can see this because of the following Scriptures.
a. The first plague falls upon those that had the mark of the beast and who had worshipped his image. Rev 16: 2.
b. The third plague is explained as retribution because of the persecution of the saints by shedding their blood. Rev 16: 4-6.
c. The fifth plague falls upon the seat of the beast, which is, the world that the beast sits upon and influences. Rev 16: 10.
d. The seat of the beast is his kingdom which is the world over which he presides. Rev 17: 18. Rev 18: 7, 8. Rev 13: 8,3
e. The seventh plague evidently targets the three types of religions that make up Babylon which targets the beast. Rev 16: 17-19.
4) We know that the beast is the same as the woman Babylon that is false religion.
a) The plagues fall upon the Beast. Rev 18: 1-4
b) The plagues target the woman Babylon. Rev 16: 17-19.
5) We now come to Rev 17, which, we are told is to show the Judgment that falls upon Babylon. Rev 17: 1, 5.
6) Rev 17: has three basic parts, they are:
a) The first part speaks as an introduction. Rev 17: 1, 2.
b) The second part presents the vision that John saw. Rev 17: 3-6
c) The third part gives an interpretation of the vision that John saw. Rev 17: 7-18.
7) The basic powers brought to view in Revelation 17 are the following:
a) The harlot and her daughters called Babylon. Rev 17: 3-5.
b) The scarlet colored beast. Rev 17; 3, 7.
c) The ten horns which are ten kings. Rev 17: 3, 12
d) The seven heads on the beast. Rev 17: 3, 9.
8) The major explanatory verse of Rev 17 is Rev 17: 14.
9) What does this verse show? Its shows the following:
a) The powers of the earth launch a global war against the Lamb. Ps 2: 1-3
b) God’s saints are the ones through which the Lamb is being attacked. Jn 15: 18-21
c) The Lamb overcomes the powers of the earth because He does it in His capacity as the King of the Universe. Rev 19: 15, 16.
10) The high point of Rev 17 is the final destruction of Babylon, which are all false religions. Rev 17: 5, 16, 17
11) It is with great violence that Babylon shall be destroyed forever, rev 18: 21.
12) Rev 17: 1 Exposited:
a) The angel that comes to John is the seventh angel with the seventh vial. Rev 16: 17
b) We know this because he shows us the judgment of Babylon referred to under the seventh plague. Rev 16: 17-19
c) Babylon is called a great whore because of her fornication/adultery. ( Rev 17: 1, Rev 2: 20, 21, Rev 14: 8 )
13) Rev 17: 2 Exposited:
a) The fornication of Babylon with the kings of the earth is her lawless unity with governments that produce persecution upon the people of God. ( Rev 17: 2, 6; Rev 13: 5-8; Rev 18: 1-3, 24)
b) The drunkenness from the wine of her fornication is the loss of spiritual judgment that comes from false doctrine. (Prov. 20: 1; Isa 5: 11-13, 22, 23)
c) Here is the wine as the teachings of false gods. Amos 2: 8; Jer 5: 17.
d) The fornication (whoredom) is explained as a relationship with the rulers of the nations, in such a way that defiles the Church. Eze 23: 1-8.
e) Thus we are told that the kings of the earth have committed whoredoms with Babylon, or that they have had a wrong relationship with the false religions of Babylon. Rev 17: 2.
f) The nations have thereby become drunk or lost their spiritual judgment from the wine or false teachings of Babylon. Rev 17: 2
14) Rev 17: 3 Exposited:
a) The wilderness John was carried into, in his mental experience, is the world lost and ruined by sin- ( Isa 14: 17; Isa 27: 10; Isa 64: 10, 11)
b) The woman who is called a whore is a church that is in apostasy from the truth. Rev 2: 20-22
c) The scarlet colored beast has been brought to view in (Rev 11: 7, Rev 17: 8).
I. The beast here is scarlet because it is full of sins. Isa 1: 18.
II. The beast is full of names of blasphemy, because the blasphemy is first of all blasphemy against God. Ps 74: 10; Jam 2: 7.
III. It is Jews that brought blasphemy against Jesus who is God to the mainstream. Lk 22: 63-66; Acts 13: 45, 46- Rev 2: 9
IV. Jews generally are known for causing others to blaspheme. Acts 26: 11; Rom 2: 17, 23,24
V. This implies that the scarlet colored beast is an apostate Jewish power at its root; it was founded by the children of those that rejected Jesus and continued in their rejection. ( Jn. 8: 39-45; Isa. 8: 20-22)
VI. Thus the beast here spoken of, is organizations founded upon the Jewish spirit of blasphemy due to the rejection of Christ.
“But the Jews had sought to make a monopoly of the truth which is eternal life. They had hoarded the living manna, and it had turned to corruption. The religion they tried to shut up to themselves became an offense. They robbed God of His glory, and defrauded the world by a counterfeit of the gospel. They had refused to surrender themselves to God for the salvation of the world, and they became agents of Satan for its destruction. The people whom God had called to be the pillar and ground of the truth had become representatives of Satan. They were doing the work that he desired them to do…” Ellen. G. White, The Desire of Ages, p. 34.
VII) We are told of the identity of the beast that came out of the bottomless pit, the scarlet colored beast.
“As they (the two witnesses) were approaching the termination of their work in obscurity, war was to be made upon them by the power represented as “the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit”. In many of the nations of Europe the powers that ruled in church and state had for centuries been controlled by Satan through the medium of the papacy. But here is brought to view a new manifestation of satanic power” Ellen. G. White, The Great Controversy, pp. 268-269.
“According to the words of the prophet, then, a little before the year 1798 some power of satanic origin and character would rise to make war upon the Bible. And in the land where the testimony of God’s two witnesses should thus be silenced, there would be manifest the atheism of the Pharaoh and the licentiousness of Sodom. This prophecy has received a most exact and striking fulfillment in the history of France. During the Revolution, in 1793, the world for the first time, heard an assembly of men, born and educated in civilization and assuming the right to govern one of the finest of the European nations, uplift their united voice to deny the most solemn truth which man’s soul receives, and renounce unanimously the belief and worship of a Deity.” Ibid, p. 269-270.
“The beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. The atheistical power that ruled in France during the Revolution and the Reign of Terror did wage such a war against God and His holy word as the world had never witnessed. The worship of the Deity was abolished by the National Assembly” Ibid, p. 273
VIII) The “atheistical power” that ruled in France, caused the Revolution and the Reign of Terror, it was known as the Illuminati.
“In 1797 a French Jesuit priest named Abbe Barruel published a series of books on the Jacobins and their influence on the French Revolution. The Jacobins were a powerful political club in France which helped organize the revolution in the late 1700’s. Today the term Jacobin or Jacobinism is sometimes used to describe left-wing revolutionary ideas. Barruel wrote four different volumes titled Memoirs Illustrating the History of Jacobinism in which he explained that the French Revolution was the result of secret societies, largely the Bavarian Illuminati.” Mark Dice, The Illuminati Facts and Fiction, p. 51.
“The rallying cry and motto of the Illuminati in France was, “ Liberty, Equality, Fraternity!” Texe Marrs, Conspiracy World, p. 18
IX) The Illuminati was a Jewish organization started by apostate Jews who rejected Jesus in spirit, receiving their experience and learning from their Talmud and Cabala. We are told: “The ideology of world tyranny, Illuminism, derives from the Jewish Cabala which preaches that man (i.e. the bankers) can usurp the place of God and redefine truth. About 1770, a syndicate of bankers led by Mayer Rothschild started the “Illuminati”, a satanic cult designed to subvert society… the Rothschild syndicate included Jewish financiers such as Daniel Itzig, Friedlander, the Goldsmidts and Moses Mocatta”. Henry Makow, Illuminati, The Cult that Hijacked the World, p. 3.
“In 1773 Amschel Mayer Rothschild, an orthodox Jew… convened a meeting of 12 prominent Jewish bankers. They refined their program baiting the hook with the spurious promise of “liberty, fraternity, and equality”. The 1848 Communist Manifesto which demands the theft of private property and the destruction of liberty and family in the name of “equality” reflects their Satanic agenda. In 1776, they appointed Adam Weishaupt to reorganize the Illuminati which merged with Freemasonry in 1782… The Cabalistic bankers were behind the revolutionary movements of the 17th-20th centuries all well as each respective reign of terror. They finagled a monopoly of credit (usurping the government’s right to create money) and have used it to conquer the world. Since they create money out of nothing, they think they are God. X) The very fact that this “atheistical power” is a Jewish led power, a power led by Jews that received the spirit of those that rejected Jesus, from the teachings of apostate Judaism, can be clearly seen.
“Judaism rejects Moses’ vision of God as a moral force. Its basic doctrine is that “God is the “En Sof” a nature essence which has no attributes and can neither know nor be known. That is atheism… So called Pharisaism, which at base is crass paganism, pantheistic atheism, a conglomeration of all the forms of paganism concocted through the centuries. XI) The blasphemy of this beast is in its many names. These are the multitudinous names this new power has taken to cover its evil agenda by benevolent appearances. (Rev 17: 3) Here are some of these names of blasphemy.
(1) Talmudism/Cabalism/Judaism/Zionism
(2) Illuminati/World Jewish Congress/B’nai B’rith/Anti- Defamation League/Freemason Lodges.
(3) League of the Just/Communism/Socialism/Bolshevism/Fabianism/ Communitarianism.
(4) New World Order/Globalism/United Nations.
(5) New Age Movement/New Age Religions/Spiritualism.
(6) IMF, World Bank, Federal Reserve, Huge Banking Institutions, CFR, TC, Bilderbergers.
(7) Many multitudinous, known and unknown subversive organizations, all working towards the same agenda.

15) Rev 17: 4 Exposited:
a) The woman wore purple robes, in the Bible this color robes in religious issues is the color of idolatry, effectively identifying the woman with false religion. ( Rev 17: 4; Jer 10: 9, 11)
b) The scarlet color wear shows that the woman is full of sin as the beast on which she sits. ( Rev 17: 4; Isa 1: 18)
c) The gold, precious stones and pearls shows the colossal wealth possessed by this religion. (Rev 14: 4; Rev 18: 7, 12-14, 16)
d) The golden cup full of filthiness is the wine or drink of false doctrines of all corruptions offered by this religion. (Jer 51: 7; Jer 50: 38; 1Cor 10: 21)
16) Rev 17: 5 Exposited:
a) The woman or harlot which is false Christianity, is named “Mystery”, this is a noun and not an adjective, it explains that this religion is in fact a mystery religion-Concerning the meaning of the Greek word we are told. “Musterion…A secret or esoteric knowledge… Some sacred thing hidden or secret which is naturally unknown to human reason and is only known by the revelation of God” Dr. Spiros Zodhiates, The Complete Word Study Dictionary New Testament, p. 1000
b) The facts are that the ancient pagan religions were known as the “Mysteries”, that is, the doctrines or teachings of those religions. The term means that these teachings were esoteric or hidden and unknown to the general public being covered in various symbols and diverse rituals. Observe what we are told.
“The Mysteries claimed to be the guardians ofa transcendental knowledge so profound as to be incomprehensible save to the most exalted intellect and so potent as to be revealed with safety only to those in whom personal ambition was dead and who had consecrated their lives to the unselfish service of humanity” Manly P. Hall, The Secret Teachings of All Ages, p.xx “Symbolism is the language of the Mysteries…” Ibid, p. xx
“Plato, an initiate of one of these sacred orders, was severely criticized because in his writings he revealed to the public many of the secret philosophic principles of the Mysteries” Ibid, p. xxi
“Sun worship played an important part in nearly all the early pagan Mysteries… The Mysteries were organized for the purpose of assisting the struggling human creature to reawaken the spiritual powers…” Ibid, p. xxi
c) Thus the name of the apostate church is to identify the pagan Mysteries that make up her teachings. This same system is also identified as the “man of sin” that has the “mystery of iniquity” as its foundation. Mystery is the secret teachings that cause iniquity or lawlessness; this is the depths of Satan, a doctrine, the concept of creation being God with God that is pantheism. (2Thess 2: 3-6; Rev 2” 20, 24; Isa 14: 12-14)
d) Thus the Mystery of this apostate church shows that the deification of creation or pantheism is the fundamental foundation of her secret teachings. 2Thess 2: 4; Dan 11: 36-38.
e) However, the term Mystery was used in the Bible to also identify the Gospel of Christ. The mystery of the Gospel is the teachings of the gospel which is not known by the general population. Eph 6: 19; 1Tim 3: 9, 16; 1Cor 4: 1; Col 1: 25-27; Eph 3: 3-6; Matt 13: 11; Mark 4: 11.
f) This false religion is also named Babylon the great. This name is to educate man of certain realities about this harlot.
i. The root of her existence and source of her apostate doctrines can be traced back to Babel, the first great apostasy after the great Flood. ( Gen 10:8-10; Gen 11: 1-9)
ii. The name is used to show that the woman is a false religion because of idolatry and false gods. Isa 21: 9; Jer 50: 2, 38; Jer 51: 47.
iii. Babylon as the great city of false religion is presented as having three parts. These are the three types of false religions that make up Babylon. Rev 16: 19
1. The dragon: Non-Christian spiritualism religions. Like , Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam
2. The Beast: this is the Roman Catholic Church.
3. The false prophet: this is the apostate Protestant Churches. Like Lutheranism, Anglicanism, Reformed Churches, Presbyterian Churches, Methodist, Pentecostals and many other evangelical types.
iv. Babylon is called “the Great” to refer to her pride and self-exaltation. Dan 4: 28-30; Isa 13: 19; Rev 14: 8; Rev 16: 19; Rev 18: 2, 7, 10, 21.
v. Babylon, in a spiritual sense is called the King of the North in (Dan 11: 14, 15, 40; Jer 1: 14, 15, Jer 4: 6, 7; Dan 7: 4)
vi. Babylonian false religion is called the mother of harlots because she has caused many false religions like herself. She has caused many false religions to hold her false teachings. Edom is here seen as a daughter of Babylon. Ps 137: 7, 8.
vii. Babylonian false religion is also called the mother of the abominations of the earth, because of these following points. Rev 17:5.
1) It was Babel that spread the false religion of its Tower all over the world when its people were dispersed. (Gen10: 8-12, 18; Gen 11: 1-9)
2) Abominations like this, as caused by Babylonian false religion all over the world are seen in this example. 2Chron 34: 33, 1-7.
3) Babylonian false religion caused their false gods and teachings to spread all over the earth in the false teachings of all false religions. Jer 51: 7, 25 (Josh 6: 16-18-Josh 7: 1, 10,11,20,21)
viii. The following quotations are related thoughts that must be considered regarding Rev 17: 5.
“…the Church which has its seat and headquarters on the Seven Hills of Rome might most appropriately be called “Babylon”, inasmuch, as it is the chief seat of idolatry under the New Testament, as the ancient Babylon was the chief seat of idolatry under the Old”. “…Rome is in very deed the Babylon of the Apocalypse; that the essential character of her system, the grand objects of her worship, her festivals, her doctrine and discipline, her rites and ceremonies, her priesthood and their orders, have all been derived from ancient Babylon. Ibid, p. 3.
“Much of the Babylonian worship was carried on through symbols- it was a “mystery” religion. Since the deified Nimrod was believed to be the sun god, fire was considered his earthly representation. Thus, as we shall see, candles and ritual fires were lighted in his honor. In other forms, he was symbolized by sun images, fish, trees, pillars, and animals”. “This system of idolatry spread from Babylon to the nations, for it was from this location that men were scattered over the face of the earth. As they went from Babylon, they took their worship of the mother and child, and the various mystery symbols with them. Herodotus, the world traveler and historian of antiquity, witnessed the mystery religion and its rites in numerous countries and mentions how Babylon was the primeval source from which all systems of idolatry flowed… we have the united testimony of sacred and profane history that idolatry originated in the area of Babylonia- the most ancient of religious systems”. Ibid, p. 4
17) Rev 17: 6 Exposited:
a) The fact that the woman of false religion is drunken with the blood of saints and martyrs of Jesus means that she is a persecuting power of genocidal proportions. She has murdered and is responsible for the murder of millions of God’s people. Rev 13: 7; Rev 16: 4-6.
b) The term “drunken with the blood of the saints”, explains a type of actual drunkenness that comes upon mass murderers. Men of this type of drunkenness are like Lenin, Starlin, Trotsky, Mao Tse Dong, and Pol Pot in modern times; then there was Julius Caesar, Muhammed, Nero, Caligula, Atilla, and many others in ancient times. The term we use for this is Genocidal Intoxication. It means “loss of mental balance and cohesion through a convoluted conscience that has resisted conviction because of genocide”. It is a madness of genocidal murder. It also means that once the opportunity is made available, this false religion will do genocide again. We know this because:
i) We are told that there is to be an ancient genocidal persecution upon God’s church that eventually breaks or ceases for a while. Matt 24: 21, 22.
ii) We are also told that after a break of the persecutive genocide, this period of temporary peace (the era of Republicanism), a new rounds of genocidal persecution is to happen. Rev 6: 9-11.
iii) The new rounds of persecutive genocide resumes when American Republicanism falls to Commuligion. Rev 13: 11, 15. Rev 20: 4.
c) The concept that those who murder God’s people at a later date is responsible for the murder of God’s people at an earlier date also, because they hold the self-same spirit, experience and principles of the earlier murderers of God’s people going back to Cain, is a doctrine taught by Jesus. Matt 23: 31-36.
d) This same teaching and principle applies to the apostate false religion of the Papal church. Rev 18: 24.
e) The vision that John saw of this genocidal and idolatrous false church amazed him; this will be because all her deeds were done in the name of Jesus. ( Rev 17: 6, Jn 16: 1-3
18) Rev 17: 7 Exposited:
a) The angel now begins to explain the meaning of the symbols John was given in vision. We are told that the beast carries the woman. This is a bearing up, like a sustaining. It refers to the nations sustaining the false religion with governmental help. This is what is meant by the woman saying that she is no widow. ( Rev 18: 7; Isa 47: 8; Rev 18: 9 )
19) Rev 17: 8 Exposited:
a) The scarlet colored beast is described as “as was”, “is not”, and “yet is”. This means:
i) The “was” refers to the beast existing as an active philosophy in ancient Egypt in the form of the denial of God done by pharaoh and his fight against God. Ex 5: 1, 2.
ii) We know this because Egypt is symbolically the King of the South in the time of the end (1798 A.C.B) which push against the King of the North (the Papacy), and this King of the South power was the atheistical Illuminati of the Rothschild Jews that wounded the Papacy in 1798, in the French Revolution (Dan 11: 8, 9, 40; Rev 3: 1-3, 10).
iii) The “is not” refers to the Beast not existing as an influential political power in the time of John when he wrote the Revelation. Rev 1: 9.
iv) The “yet is” refers to the fact that this Beast does indeed exist as a philosophy in the time of John, but not as a politically influential movement in the Roman Empire. It is Pharisaical anti-Jesus acts. Acts 13: 43-50; Acts 17: 1-9; Acts 18: 12-17.
v) The beast ascends out of the bottomless pit in the time of the French Revolution around 1776 when the Illuminati were born. “…the Order of the Illuminati was founded on May 1st, 1776 by Dr. Adam Weishaupt, Professor of Cannon Law at the University of Ingolstadt, Bavaria. “On the first of May, 1776, Weishaupt founded the secret society of the Illuminati, the instrument by which he planned to accomplish his goal”. Ibid, p.53
vi) The new manifestation of Satanic power that arose in 1776 just before 1793 or 1798, the Illuminati, had the following goal;
“…Mackey, an American Mason describes him as follows in the book, Lexicon of Freemasonry.
‘ Weishaupt was a radical in politics and an infidel in religion, and he organized this association, not more for the purpose of aggrandizing himself, than of overturning Christianity and the institution of society’” Gerald B. Winrod, Adam Weishaupt A Human Devil, p.16.
“… the ultimate aims of the Order: (1) Abolition of all ordered government.
(2) Abolition of private property. (3) Abolition of inheritance. (4) Abolition of Patriotism. (5) Abolition of all religion. (6) Abolition of the family. vii) The bottomless pit that the Illuminati arises out of is the chaos and disorder of
the world of demons; we are being told that the organization arouse out of the
world and plans of demons. (“Bottomless pit is the word”abyss”, and this trans
lated as “deep”. (Rev 17: 8, Gen 1: 2. Lk 8: 31)
b) The beast goes in perdition, which is destruction. This tells us that the scarlet colored beast will self destruct in the chaos and disorder that exists after it does its God-appointed work. There will be global civil war. (Rev 17:11, Zech 14: 13)
c) Those who wonder or marvel are those whose names were not written in the book of life. When they see the self destruction of the scarlet colored beast and its empire. This means that they trusted in this blasphemous power from the beginning of this beast’s existence, so they cannot be saved. Isa 2: 22. Ps 146: 3, 4. Isa 30: 1-3, 12, 13.
20) Rev 17: 9 Exposited:
a) We are told that the woman sitteth on the seven heads. This shows that the woman does not ride the beast in the sense of controlling her, but rather, the heads sustain or “carry” the woman of false religion. (Rev 17: 7; Rev 18: 7)
I. However, we are told that the woman have sovereign-dom or theological influence or religious rulership over the leaders of the nations. (Rev 17: 18. Rev 18: 2, 3).
II. By sitting on the heads, the woman is sitting upon peoples and nations. Rev 17: 5.
b) The heads are called mountains because they are being identified as great kingdoms that influenced the world; they are world empires. Dan 2: 35, 44.
i) Babylon, the first world empire after the fall of Judah, is called a mountain, Thud Mountain means World Empire. Jer 51: 24, 25.
21) Rev 17: 10 Exposited:
a) The Greek text of this verse reveals its connection without break to the former verse Rev 17: 9. It reads thus: “And kings seven are; the five fell…” Rev 17: 10
1. Connection of the two verses would read thus.
“… The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sitteth and are seven kings; the five fell…” Thus the seven mountains are in fact seven kings or kingdoms. That kings and kingdoms are used interchangeably is clearly seen. Dan 7: 17, 23, 24.
b) Of the seven kingdoms or world empires, we are told that five are fallen. These five are: (1) Egypt (2) Assyria (3) Babylon (4) Medo-Persia (5) Greece.
I. These Kingdoms can be calculated by understanding that they are the gentile Kingdoms that have attacked God’s people. The first four of them are referred to starting from Medo-Persia, and checking backwards. They are Medo-Persia, Babylon, Assyria, Egypt. Zech 1:1, 18-21
II. The Kingdom that comes after Medo-Persia is Greece. Dan 10: 20
III. The one that “is” is the power that was currently ruling at the time of John. This is Rome or the Roman Empire. Luke 2: 1
IV. The other that was not yet come in the time of John was the seventh Kingdom, the United States of America. Rev 13: 11.
V. The United States of America continues for a “short space” in the process of persecuting God’s people. Rev 13: 11, 12, 15-17.
c) Here are evidences that these seven kingdoms have and will attack and persecute God’s people.
I. Egypt’s persecution 2Chron 36: 1-4
II. Assyria’s persecution. Isa 36: 1-21
III. Babylon’s persecution. 2Chron 36: 5-20
IV. Medo-Persia’s persecution. Est 3: 1-15
V. Greece’s persecution. Zech 9: 13
VI. Rome’s persecution. Dan 9: 26; Dan 8: 9-11
VII. United States of America coming persecution. Rev 13: 11, 12, 15-17
22) Rev 17: 11 Exposited
a) We are told that the scarlet colored beast which was ( acting as an active philosophy in the past in Egypt. Ex 5: 12), and is not (that is, was not existing as an influential political power in the time of John- pagan Rome was, Rev 1: 9) is the eight empire and come out of (ek) the seven empires, and goes into destruction.
I. It is apostate atheistical philosophy from all the previous powers before it that is the foundational and ideological make up that creates the eight world power, for he is full of names of all the blasphemy of the past, from the tower of Babel, Egypt, down to the United States, the seventh world power. Thus he is ek, out of the seven. Rev 17: 3
II. The fact of a one world government that is atheistical, meaning, a government that does not recognize God, and in which He is given no role or honour, such a concept existed in ancient times from the tower of Babel, down to the seventh world empire, the United States is clearly seen. Here is evidence of its existence at the Tower of Babel.
“Here they decided to build a city, and in it a tower of such stupendous height as should render it the wonder of the world. These enterprises were designed to prevent the people from scattering abroad in colonies. God had directed men to disperse throughout the earth, to replenish and subdue it; but these Babel-builders determined to keep their community united in one body, and to found a monarchy that should eventually embrace the whole earth. Thus their city would become the metropolis of a universal empire; its glory would command the admiration and homage of the world, and render the founders illustrious. The magnificent tower, reaching to the heavens, was intended to stand as a monument of the power and wisdom of its builders, perpetuating their fame to the latest generations. The dwellers on the plains of Shinar disbelieved God’s covenant that he would not again bring a flood upon the earth. “ The men of Babel had determined to establish a government that should be independent of God”. Ibid, p. 80. “Their confederacy was founded in rebellion; a kingdom established for self-exaltation, but in which God was to have no rule, or honor. Had this confederacy been permitted, a mighty power would have borne sway to banish righteousness- and with it, peace, happiness and security from the earth”. Ibid, p. 80
iii. Today, when the seventh world empire exists, that is, the United States, the same
concepts that were from the beginning are now working today and will create the
eight world empire that derives its substance from the previous seven world
Empires.
“There are tower builders in our time. Infidels construct their theories
From the supposed deductions of science, and reject the revealed word of God.
They presume to pass sentence upon God’s moral government; they despise his law,
and boast of the sufficiency of human reason… many seek to make a heaven for
themselves by obtaining riches and power (the international bankers) They “speak”
wickedly concerning oppression, they speak loftily, trampling upon human rights,

iv. The eight world powers last only for 15 days (one hour) Rev 17: 12
v. The eight world powers are:
1. Egypt
2. Assyria
3. Babylon
4. Medo-Persia
5. Greece
6. Rome
7. United States of America
8. The New World Order
vi. The perdition or destruction that the New World Order descends into in a short time
is the chaos of global civil war that erupts with every man being against his brother.
Zech 14: 13
23) Rev 17: 12 Exposited:
a) The ten horns are ten kings that had received no kingdoms as yet in John’s time, because Rome, the sixth kingdom, was existing in the time of John. (Rev 1: 9, Acts 28: 16, 17.
b) The ten horns are the nations of Europe that would develop out of the Western Roman Empire with boundaries that would change over a period of time. Dan 7: 7, 24.
c) However, the assumption of the European nations as kings in the future with the scarlet colored beast is then referred to. This means that we are to see a Europe with, or in alliance with the scarlet colored beast which is Illuminism, Globalism, Communism, Socialism, New World Order, etc. we are being told that Europe will become Communist or Socialist, Europe will be Illuminized.
d) This alliance happens for “one hour”. This time is to be judged thus:
I. One day equals a year in Bible prophecy. Num 14: 34. Eze 4: 6.
II. One year in Bible prophecy is 360 days which is how the Jews counted a year. “The Bible year, which must be used as the basis of reckoning, contained three hundred and sixty days”. Uriah Smith, Daniel and the Revelation, p.144
“A Jewish year, recognized by Bible scholars, is 360 days, this being the mean average between a lunar year of 356 days and a solar year of 365 days”. Roy Allan Anderson, Unfolding Daniel’s Prophecies, p. 94
“A prophetic year is 360 days, or literal years, so that 31/2 prophetic years equals 1260 literal days”. Roy Allan Anderson, Unfolding the Revelation, p. 109.
III. We can know that 360 days make one year. We are told that 42 months is the same as 1260 days, (Rev 11: 2, 3); to count 42 months exactly without any days remaining from one of the months to make 1260 days, would require each month having 30 days. 42x30=1260days. Next, 12 months with 30 days each will equal 12x30=360 days. This proves that 360 days was one prophetic year. This quote further confirms: “A Jewish month is 30 days…” Roy Allan Anderson, Unfolding Daniel’s Prophecies, p. 94. To find out how much days or time equals one hour we need to find out how much 24 hours make up 360 days. Each of the 24 hours, in contrast to a year (360days) is in fact 15 days. 24 divided into 360=15. If 15 days is one hour, then 24 hours make up 360 days 15 times. Thus one hour is in fact 15 days of literal time. Rev 18: 10, 17, 19.
IV. Thus we are told that the nations of Europe will be in political operation for one hour, 15 days, in alliance with the scarlet colored beast, or with Communism, Socialism, Globalism or Illuminism. This fact is represented by the following quotation that reveals the result of Europe being illuminized. We shall create by all the secret subterranean methods open to us and with the aid of gold, which is all in our hands, a universal economic crisis whereby we shall throw upon the streets whole mobs of workers simultaneously in all the countries of Europe. These mobs will rush delightedly to shed the blood of those whom, in the simplicity of their ignorance, they have envied from their cradles and whose property they will then be able to loot”. 24) Rev 17: 13 Exposited:
a) In the 15 days period, when Europe is Illuminized, they will have one mind or opinion. Concerning this word we are told. - “gnome… to discern, know. Generally it means capacity of judgment, faculty of discernment as far as conduct is determined… As implying will, in the sense of accord, consent… as implying opinion, judgment, in reference to oneself… It signifies consciousness, mind, opinion, thought…” Spiros Zodhiates, The Complete Word Study Dictionary New Testament, p.377
I. This one opinion consented to by the nations of Europe is the left-leaning, Socialism, Communism, Globalism and godless concepts or ideology that led to the French Revolution and its hate for Jesus and Christianity. We are told: “At the same time anarchy is seeking to sweep away all law, not only divine but human. The centralizing of wealth and power; the vast combinations for the enriching of the few at the expense of the many; the combinations of the poorer classes for the defense of their interests and claims; the spirit of unrest, of riot and bloodshed; the worldwide dissemination of the same teachings that led to the French Revolution- all are tending to involve the whole world in a struggle similar to that which convulsed in France”. Ellen G. White, Education, p. 228, (Emphasis supplied)
b) The ten kings or nations of Europe shall give (or distribute) their power (Greek-dunamis-ability) and strength (Greek-exousia-authority) unto the scarlet colored beast.
i) The dunamis or dynamics of a nation is its constitution, because it shows how the nation operates and is governed.
ii) The dynamics or the Constitutions of the European nations given over to Illuminati or Communism, means that they will all reflect and operate by the NO RIGHTS and FREEDOMS philosophy of the scarlet colored beast. This is a basic example: “but Communism abolishes eternal truths, it abolishes all religion and all morality, instead of constituting them on a new basis…” Karl Marx, Friedrich Engles, The Communist Manifesto, p. 103. “And the abolition of this state of things is called by the bourgeois, the abolition of individuality and freedom! And rightly so”. Ibid, p. 98. “We must combat religion-that is the ABC of all materialism, and consequently of Marxism”. V.I. Lenin, On Religion, p. 21. “Down with religion and long live atheism; the dissemination of atheist views is our chief task”. Ibid, p. 21. “A Marxist must be a materialist, i.e. an enemy of religion…” Ibid, p. 23
iii) The authority of the European nations is their governments, legislature, and judiciary. Giving their authority to the scarlet colored beast is giving their governments, legislature, and judiciary, with the relative executive powers to Communism, Socialism, Illuminism, etc. This facilitates the persecution of undesirables like God’s people and even false religion. Thus the executive authority of the European nations will be Illuminized or Socialized.
25) Rev 17: 14 Exposited:
a) The nations of Europe shall make war with the lamb, Jesus, in the personage of His followers. These followers are with Him
i) Jesus said that His people would be persecuted as He was, for His name sake. Jn 15: 20, 21
ii) Here Paul is seen persecuting the church, but Jesus said that it was He that Paul was persecuting. ( Acts 8: 1, 3, 4; Acts 9: 1-5 )
iii) The ten horns make war with the Lamb by the universal death decree imposed upon the saints of God by the global powers after the close of probation. “As the Sabbath has become the special point of controversy throughout Christendom, and religious and secular authorities have combined to enforce the observance of Sunday, the persistent refusal of a small minority to yield to the popular demand will make them the objects of universal execration. It will be urged that the few who stand in opposition to an institution of the church and a law of the state ought not to be tolerated; that it is better for them to suffer than for whole nations to be thrown into confusion and lawlessness… This argument will appear conclusive; and a decree will finally be issued against those who hallow the Sabbath of the fourth commandment, denouncing them as deserving of the severest punishment and giving the people liberty, after a certain time, to put them to death. Romanism in the Old World and apostate Protestantism in the New will pursue a similar course toward those who honor all the divine precepts. The people of God will then be plunged into those scenes of affliction and distress described by the prophet as the time of Jacob’s trouble”. Ellen G. b) The Lamb overcomes them, the ten nations with the seven last plagues which lay ruin to these and other nations.
i) In some cases a grievous ulcer maims the people of these nations. Rev 16: 2.
ii) Some of the fishing industry of these nations are destroyed by the “red tide” blood. Rev 16; 3.
iii) Some of the rivers and fountains that provide drinking water and water for agricultural purposes also get the “red tide” blood, affecting society and its food supply. Rev 16: 4,
iv) Terrible heat waves from the sun, kills cattle, fruit trees, agricultural products, burn down forests, dry up water and kill many with heat stroke. Rev 16: 8, 9.
v) A dense darkness strikes these nations, as others in the world experience the same thing, damaging the psyche of millions in these nations. Rev 16: 10.
vi) The religious trust and following of millions upon the Roman Catholic Church are severed from much of the people in these nations. Rev 16: 12.
vii) Then a great earthquake destroys these nations, sink their mountains while hail more than 50 pounds in weight destroy popular cities and kill millions. Rev 16: 18-21.
c) The Lamb overcomes these ten nations through the battle of Armageddon which is the year of the plagues. ( Rev 16: 13-16; Isa 34: 1-5, 8; Job 38: 22, 23. Isa 13: 4-13).
d) Why does Jesus as the Lamb fight and overcome them?
i) Because the Lamb Jesus sits on the throne of God, thus is God. Rev 22: 1, 3. Rev 5: 13.
ii) Because the Lamb is also the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the king. Rev 5: 5-7.
e) Jesus overcomes them as King of Kings and Lord of Lords, this reveals that Jess is in fact King over all Kings, thus He is global King. The throne of David which Jesus occupies is thus indeed a global throne. ( Ps 89: 3, 4. Gal 3: 16. Ps 89: 26, 27, 34-37; Isa 9: 6, 7. Jer 23: 5, 6. ) (Isa 24: 21. Rev 19: 11-16)
f) Lords of Lords, identifies Jesus as ruler over all leaders. This is also saying that He is God over all gods. Ps 95: 3; Ps 136: 2, 3; Deut 10: 17; 1Cor 8: 5; 1Pet 5: 3. 2Thess 2: 2-4, 7-9 The statement “They are with Him (the Lamb) are “called”, “chosen”, and “faithful”, identifies the time Rev 17: 14 occurs. It is after the time of Probation has closed, in the time of the seven last plagues that this deliverance takes place.
i) They were called to follow God and answered before probation closed. ( Rom 1: 7, 6. Rom 8: 28) 1Cor 1: 1, 2, 9.
ii) They were chosen in the Investigative Judgment. Matt 22: 1-14. Matt 20: 1-16.
iii) They were faithful through the time of Jacob’s Trouble which they experienced during the time of the plagues before their deliverance. Rev 14: 1-5; Rev 15: 2-4. (Rev 7: 13-15).
iv) The deliverance of the saints from Jacob’s Trouble is here presented. (Jer 30: 4-7, Dan 12: 1).
26) Rev 17: 15 Exposited:
a) The waters upon which the Papal whore sitteth is nations, peoples, multitudes and tongues. Rev 17: 1.

b) That the scarlet colored beast will use Europe to destroy all religion is clearly seen in the earliest plans hatched by the Illuminati, and revealed to us since 1798. “I have observed these doctrines gradually diffusing and mixing with all the different systems of Freemasonry; till, at last, an ASSOCIATION HAS BEEN FORMED for the express purpose of ROOTING OUT ALL THE RELIGIOUS ESTABLISHMENTS, AND OVERTURNING ALL THE EXISTING GOVERNMENTS OF EUROPE”. John Robison, Proofs of a Conspiracy, p. 7. “ It was then discovered that this and several associated Lodges were the nursery or preparation school for another Order of Masons, who called themselves the Illuminated, and that the express aim of this Order was to abolish Christianity, and overturn all civil government”. c) Plans to destroy all religions have been carefully made only to be brought into action at a certain time. Of this we are told by Illuminist Jews. “…now only years divide us from the moment of the complete wrecking of that Christian religion, as to other religions, we shall have still less difficulty in dealing with them…” The Protocols of Zion, p. 204 “ When the time comes finally to destroy the papal court the finger of an invisible hand will point the nations towards this court. When, however, the nations fling themselves upon it, we shall come forward in the guise of its defenders as if to save excessive bloodshed. By this diversion we shall penetrate to its very bowels and be sure we shall never come out again until we have gnawed through the entire strength of this place”. Ibid, pp. 204-205.
d) Thus we have seen that the nations will attack and destroy the Catholic Church and institutions all over Europe and the world. It is Babylon and her daughters (other religions) that will be destroyed. However, the Pope himself and perhaps a few of his top advisers and cardinals are reserved and will be destroyed by the brightness of Jesus second coming. 2Thess 2: 1-3, 8
e) At this time, the earth’s population that is yet alive at the coming will suffer like fate as the Pope. Zech 14: 12
f) We are told that the time when the ten European nations assume power with the Illuminist-Communist beast is 1 hour or 15 days. This is the exact time that the Papacy, its institutions and other false religions will be destroyed by the nations of the earth in riot, chaos and bloodshed. (Rev 17: 12, Rev 18: 10, 16, 17, 19).
g) Thus we are told that it is with violence that Babylon and all false religions will be destroyed. Rev 18: 21.
h) The violence upon Babylon and her daughters that destroys her institutions and murder her people occurs in the last 15 days of the earth’s history and ends with the second coming of Christ whose brightness destroys the Pope. ( Rev 18: 21, Zech 14: 13, 12, 2Thess 2: 8 )
i) The following are other Scriptures that relates to the second coming of Jesus that ends the last 15 days of the earth’s history. Isa 13: 4-13; Isa 24: 1-6, 17-23; Isa 34: 1-5, 8. Isa 66: 15, 16. Jer 25: 30-33. Jer 30: 23, 24.
27) Rev 17: 17 Exposited:
a) The destruction of false religion by the forces that make up and obey the scarlet colored beast is the will of God, we are reminded; the disaffections in the minds of the destroyers are all allowed to develop in their minds unchecked until it led to the open violent destruction of Babylonian false religion. (Pro 21: 1, Isa 10: 57, Isa 46: 9-12, Rev 18: 21)
b) The ten nations of Europe, we are told, will be divided, but God allows them in the end to all embrace one ideology or opinion so that they all work together with the scarlet colored beast to destroy all Babylonian false religion. (Dan 2: 41-43. Ps 2: 1-3, Rev 17: 12, 13, 16 )
c) This only happens until the words of God about the destruction of Babylon, is fulfilled. Isa 14: 4-6, Isa 21: 6-10. Jer 51: 24-26, 44.
d) After the destruction of all Babylonian false religions these nations reignite with mutual hostility and proceed to destroy each other. And it is while this global civil war is ensuing that Jesus Christ appears in the heavens. (Zech 14: 13, Isa 13: 4-9, Rev 19: 11-18).
28) Rev 17: 18 Exposited:
a) The final verse of Rev 17 identifies the woman in Rev 17: 1-6.
b) The great city is Babylon as religion. ( Rev 16: 19, Rev 17: 3, 4. Rev 18: 2. Isa 21: 9).
c) The Babylonian false religion that reigns or has a sovereign-dom over the nations of the earth is the Roman Catholic Papacy and her churches that have influenced the whole world. She does not reign politically, but has a spiritual determining influence, and will thus influence the whole world. This is how she reigns. Rev 13: 1-4. Rev 18: 1-3, 7.
