SUNDAY LESSON TAUGHT TODAY IN THE QUARTERLY, ALL OVER THE WORLD, ADDRESSED BY THE BIBLE AND THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY
The SDA Quartlerly - Sabbath School Bible study guide - used a Martin Luther quote that sin always dwell in the flesh even after being born again to show their position of the state of man. This shows their belief that Christ came in a different flesh to us, for it is evident Christ’s flesh did not have sin ever present in it. This shows the General Conference doctrinal position on the flesh of man, which is opposite to the 1888 message, the Spirit of prophesy and of the bible. I shall quote the Quarterly lesson for 12th November, 2017 after other pertinent quotes.
The bible tells us in Rom.8:1 "1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

The context of “likeness of sinful flesh” here must mean sameness that the consistency and thought of all the verses may be maintained. Furthermore it is impossible for Christ to have a flesh like sinful flesh that is not sinful flesh.
Now Sinful flesh is flesh affected by sin and not necessary infected by sin, a flesh that could get hungry, sick, tired, sleepy and could die, all these due to the effect of sin on the human body and of themselves are not sin. However if a person sins in thought the flesh would then have sinful passions and emotions flowing in it, which is the flesh being infected with sin.
Now here is a quote from Sister White showing Sis White's position on the flesh of Christ:
"It would have been an almost infinite humiliation for the Son of God to take man's nature, even when Adam stood in his innocence in Eden. But Jesus accepted humanity when the race had been weakened by four thousand years of sin. Like every child of Adam He accepted the results of the working of the great law of heredity. What these results were is shown in the history of His earthly ancestors. He came with such a heredity to share our sorrows and temptations, and to give us the example of a sinless life." Desire of Ages Chp.4 page 49
" As one of us He was to give an example of obedience. For this He took upon Himself our nature, and passed through our experiences. "In all things it behooved Him to be made like unto His brethren." Heb. 2:17. If we had to bear anything which Jesus did not endure, then upon this point Satan would represent the power of God as insufficient for us. Therefore Jesus was "in all points tempted like as we are." Heb. 4:15. He endured every trial to which we are subject. And He exercised in His own behalf no power that is not freely offered to us. As man, He met temptation, and overcame in the strength given Him from God. He says, "I delight to do Thy will, O My God: yea, Thy law is within My heart." Ps. 40:8. As He went about doing good, and healing all who were afflicted by Satan, He made plain to men the character of God's law and the nature of His service. His life testifies that it is possible for us also to obey the law of God." Desire of Ages chp.1 page 24
Now here is the SDA Quarterly's statement of Sunday the 12th November,2017, I quote:
"Of course, as any baptized Christian knows, sin doesn’t just automatically disappear from our lives once we come up out of the water. Not being ruled by sin isn’t the same as not having to struggle with it."
“From this we clearly see what the words of the Apostle mean. All such statements as: 1. ‘We are dead to sin,’ 2. ‘We live unto God,’ etc.,
signify that we do not yield to our sinful passions and sin, even though sin continues in us. Nevertheless, sin remains in us until the end of our life, as we read Galatians 5:17: ‘The flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other.’ Therefore all apostles and saints confess that sin and the sinful passions remain in us till the body is turned into ashes, and a new (glorified) body is raised up which is free from passion and sin.”—Martin Luther, Commentary on Romans, p100

Thus it is clearly seen in the above quote that the quarterly holds the general view of the General Conferenece of SDA that the converted man has sin always abiding in them. However the above quote by Martin Luther that sin and sinful passions remains with man till death is false. Martin Luther was correct as for his doctrinal position that justification is the change of heart of the born again person, which truth the General Conference of SDA deny, however he (Martin Luther) was yet influenced by the many apostate teachings of the Catholic Church, the doctrine of St Augustine of Hippo that man had a sinful nature was one. Furthermore the false interpretation Gal.5:17 can easily be cleared up by looking at the context of the verse. The verse does not mean that man has two conflicting natures contending in a person at the same time. No, it simple identifies that the philosophy of flesh and the Spirit are two opposing philosophies the mind could have. The flesh/carnal mind with its fruits and the Spirit or the Spiritual mind with its fruits. Thus one is told to walk in the Spirit and they will not fulfill the lust of the flesh". I will quote Gal.5:16-25 in the comment for your perusal.
The above quarterly quote is an example of the false but subtle doctrinal errors that influence adventism today in mass. Thus there is need for doctrinal reformation and revival among Adventist who are influenced by the teachings of the General Conference who have rejected 1888 message. The revival has started with Thusia SDA. Join the revival by being converted into the true message of Righteousness’ by faith. May God help us all in this movement of the third angel, to the spreading of the true gospel of sinfreeness to all of the world.

WHAT OUR INQUIRY ABOUT OURSELVES SHOULD BE?

WHAT OUR INQUIRY ABOUT OURSELVES  SHOULD BE? We are in the very last days, we are told that the last controversy will be very short. “We are standing on the threshold of great and solemn events. Prophecies are fulfilling. The last great conflict will be short, but terrible. Old controversies will be revived. New controversies will arise. We have a great work to do. Our ministerial work must not cease. The last warning must be given to the world. There is a special power in the presentation of the truth at the present time. How long will it last? Only a little while.” Ellen G. White, Selected Messages bk. 3, pg. 419. And in view of the lateness of time, what should be the inquiry of everyone? We are told: “The inquiry of everyone should be ‘whose am I? To whom do I owe allegiance? Is my heart renewed? Is my soul reformed? Are my sins forgiven? Will they be blotted out when the time of refreshing shall come?” Ibid, pg. 419. We must needs examine ourselves to see if we are

DID ELLEN G. WHITE EVER CALL THE S.D.A. CHURCH BABYLON IN ANY WAY? BY NYRON MEDINA

In the Bible is brought to view the following statement: “And after these things I  saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was  lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying,  Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all  nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the  earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are  waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. And I heard another voice  from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her  sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” Revelation 18:1-4. Of this Scripture  we are told that it speaks about the Church, fallen because of sins. “In amazement  they [the people] hear the testimony that Babylon is the church,
