SIN IS NOT A NATURE IN MAN'S FLESH

SIN IS NOT A NATURE IN MAN'S FLESH
Sin is not a nature in man's flesh, sin is defined as the transgression of the law (1John 3:4). Thus sin is generally due to choice made in the mind. A person chooses to have Sinful idol values (the carnal mind) in that way trangressing by having god's with God (Ezekiel 14:5-7 & 2Cor.10:4-5), or yield to act out values in the mind like lying stealing or murder and make the choice to transgress in that way. Once a person is old enough to reason they are offered by the Holy Spirit the Character of Christ to replace the carnal mind. When one believes from the heart the form doctrine delivered unto them referred to Rom.6:17 they in so doing accept the offering of Christ's character seen in the doctrine of Christ. The bible tells us from this point the person is free of sin and that they have their fruit in holiness Rom.6:18,22. Note from the age of reason convictions come to a person of Sin, of Righteousness and judgement to come. However many chose to ignore the convictions of wrong and thus remain in sin.
A baby is born without God/Love indwelling, however though the baby did not make a choice to be born without God soon after he chooses to sin by impulse until he is able to reason and comprehend that his choice of the wrong is wrong. At the time of reason and comprehension of the wrong conviction of Righteosness also comes to the child (John 16:8), this is the character of Christ being offered so that if he repents he will be made free of sin by the power and indwelling of God in the thoughts of the heart.
1John 3:4
Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
Ezek.14:5-7
That I may take the house of Israel in their own heart, because they are all estranged from me through their idols.
6 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord God; Repent, and turn yourselves from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations.
7 For every one of the house of Israel, or of the stranger that sojourneth in Israel, which separateth himself from me, and setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to a prophet to enquire of him concerning me; I the Lord will answer him by myself:
2Cor.10:4-5
4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ
Rom.6:17,18,20,22
But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

WHAT OUR INQUIRY ABOUT OURSELVES SHOULD BE?

WHAT OUR INQUIRY ABOUT OURSELVES  SHOULD BE? We are in the very last days, we are told that the last controversy will be very short. “We are standing on the threshold of great and solemn events. Prophecies are fulfilling. The last great conflict will be short, but terrible. Old controversies will be revived. New controversies will arise. We have a great work to do. Our ministerial work must not cease. The last warning must be given to the world. There is a special power in the presentation of the truth at the present time. How long will it last? Only a little while.” Ellen G. White, Selected Messages bk. 3, pg. 419. And in view of the lateness of time, what should be the inquiry of everyone? We are told: “The inquiry of everyone should be ‘whose am I? To whom do I owe allegiance? Is my heart renewed? Is my soul reformed? Are my sins forgiven? Will they be blotted out when the time of refreshing shall come?” Ibid, pg. 419. We must needs examine ourselves to see if we are

DID ELLEN G. WHITE EVER CALL THE S.D.A. CHURCH BABYLON IN ANY WAY? BY NYRON MEDINA

In the Bible is brought to view the following statement: “And after these things I  saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was  lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying,  Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all  nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the  earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are  waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. And I heard another voice  from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her  sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” Revelation 18:1-4. Of this Scripture  we are told that it speaks about the Church, fallen because of sins. “In amazement  they [the people] hear the testimony that Babylon is the church,
