CHRIST CAME IN THE SAME FLESH AS US AND LIVED FREE FROM SIN TO SHOW US WE BY HIS GRACE CAN DO THE SAME.
CHRIST CAME IN THE SAME FLESH AS US AND LIVED FREE FROM SIN TO SHOW US WE BY HIS GRACE CAN DO THE SAME.
The fact that generally Psalms 51:6 is erroneously taught to mean man is born with a sin nature, shows it is generally believed that man has a different flesh to Christ. This is the natural deduction for of course very few would claim Christ was born in sin and shapen in iniquity.
Someone mentioned we were born in sin and shapen in iniquity which is commonly misinterpreted to support man having a sin nature in the flesh. Born in sin in Ps.51:6 means man is born without God or the character of God in His consciousness, it is only at conversion this takes place. Since it is not a sin nature being spoken of, David says in Ps.51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God and renew a right spirit in me. He would then teach trangressors God's way, which is sinfreeness. So Ps.51:6 is not presenting a sin nature as a cause for transgressions. If it was a sin nature in the flesh and not simply his unholy state of mind that caused him to sin, David would not also present hiding the truth in the heart to effect not sinning against God in Psalms 19:11.
