WHAT DOES THE SCRIPTURE MEAN WHEN IT SAYS THAT CHRIST IS THE FIRSTBORN?

Jesus is called the first born (Gk prototokos") "not first created", The word first born does not mean first created, It means having pre-eminence over all. This mean He is God.
Colossians 1:15,18 KJV
Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: [18] And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

Please note the use of first born in these scripture and none of them means first created, but having preeminence in God's sight.
Exodus 4:22 KJV
And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the Lord , Israel is my son, even my firstborn:

Psalm 89:20,27 KJV
I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him: [27] Also I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth.

Jeremiah 31:9 KJV
They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.
