l. Our next quest is to understand how does the Investigative Judgement fits into the Plan of Salvation or the theology of Jesus Christ.
i. First, it is called the everlasting gospel. Rev. 14:6,7.
ii. It is also called Justification. (And since Justification is forgiveness, it is also forgiveness). Rom. 2:13,16; (Acts. 13:38,39).
iii. It is the Day of Atonement, Blotting Out, of Sins. (Lev. 16:29,30,15,16; Acts. 3:19).
iv. It is the cleansing of the Sanctuary which means the cleansing work of the sanctuary in which the sins of converted persons, people who are already forgiven – are cleansed or removed. This is their past sins. (Dan. 8:14; Lev. 16:16-19,29,30).
v. This Judgement is thus Justification for sins that are past. (Rom. 2:13,16; Matt. 12:36,37).
vi. It is the covering of a multitude of past sins for the man/person who is already converted to Jesus Christ, thus is changed internally. Jam. 5:19,20.
