Response to Seventh Day Adventist that say DON'T LEAVE THE CHURCH and not to call the church Babylon when I sought to have them accept the 1888 message which the General Conference rejected.:True, the church is not yet to be called Babylon, the church has not given up the Sabbath as yet as Mrs. white has prophesied, at that time the church will become Babylon (Review and Herald.1884-03-18.008). However Mrs. White said in 1901 that the General Conference is no longer to be seen as the voice of God to the people ((GCB.1901-04-03.025, SEE QUOTES IN MY STATUS). In the same year Mrs. white and others sought to turn from having a hierarchical order of church organization in the church and pushed for chuches to be autonomous. See Mrs. White statements in the General Conference Bulletin 1903 Pg. 87 and Testimonies to Ministers Pg.321 and also the statements of A.T. Jones and E.A. Sutherland at the 1903 General Conference recorded in the GCB Pg165-168,also see some of these quotes in my facebook status. Mrs. White sided with these men against the majority who were for a centralization of the work. If the churches were autonomous we would only look to the bible to determine if an individual or body of believers are truly SDA, we would have given careful consideration to what is said in the word, this problem of seeking directive from men instead of the word of God Mrs. White saw and sought to avoid it. We should not have a body of men who is said to be not the voice of God to the people controling or directing or managing the pastors who are sent to our churches, for the pastors are heavily influenced by the education system set up and directed by the GC. Furthermore the same can be said of the publishing ministry which is not autonomous or independent of conference. Each of us need to be dependent on God and His word for ourselves.
It is sad that men are deceived to think that if they separate themselves fom receiving directive from a voice that is not the voice of God (as Mrs.White said of the General Conference- See GCB 1901 pg.25, TC. VOL.9 pg.260 - SEE MY STATUS FOR QUOTES,) they would be considered leaving God's church. The bible says blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly (Psalm 1:1) This tells me that the person that walks in the counsel of the ungodly or a voice that is not the voice of God is not blessed but is cursed. Is not Laodicea in a cursed state. God says he preferred she was hot or cold rather than lukewarm and for this he plans to spue her out of his mouth. We need to have the Philadelphia experience which exists among those today that have taken heed the call to buy of Him gold, white raiment and eyesalve Rev.3:18.
