FATHER IN THE BIBLE. NYRON MEDINA

In the Bible, God is not the three persons of the Godhead, God is numerically one God. (Galatians 3:20; James 2:19). But He dwells in three persons officially; we know that He dwells in the persons because Jesus taught us this fact through His incarnation. We are told that “God was in Christ” (2 Corinthians 5:19), this, among others, is how we know that God dwells in the persons of the Father, the Son, and the Spirit. This one God in the three persons is called the Divine Nature (2 Peter 1:4), and so we shall call Him. Furthermore this God the Divine Nature is also called the Father, so that when the word Father is used, it means the Father Divine Nature. Thus if we were to say God the Father, it means the Father Divine Nature (Galatians 1:3). But there is also the person of the father in which the Divine Nature officially dwells. The Bible used the word Father to sometimes mean just the Di-vine Nature without any reference to the person of the Father, and then it uses the word Father to mean the Father Person (in whom the Divine Nature dwells). So in this tract we shall layout verses from the Bible where the word “Father” means not the person of the Father, but the Divine Nature, we will call this the Father Divine Nature to so indicate; and we shall isolate verses where the word “Father” means the Divine Nature in the person of the Father specifically, and indicate them under the heading Father Person. This is the pattern we shall follow. This tract is written to en-

courage focus on the word Father in the Bible, and to encourage close scrutiny and judgment on the matter, by each individual as he studies the verses from his Bible. It is meant to heighten the consciousness about spiritual things and to develop discernment
in the Scriptures. May all who study be blessed in like manner.
Amen.

Disproving the So-called Forensic Gospel

Disproving the So-called Forensic Gospel INTRODUCTION 1. The Bible tells us that any false gospel is a thing cursed by God. Galatians 1:6-9. 2. The false gospel makes us say Lord, Lord, but do not His Will, such people are lost.  Matthew 7:21-23. 3. The false gospel is described as untempered mortar that cannot help. Ezekiel 13:9-16. 4. It also tells a person peace, peace, (which is given by Justification) when there is no peace.  Romans 5:1; Jeremiah 8:10, 11. 5. However, the real Gospel is described as the power or science of God unto salvation  because it makes the believer, live by Faith. Romans 1:16, 17. 6. The Bible clearly explains that the Gospel of God’s Grace teaches denying ungodliness, it  teaches living righteously, it teaches that the purpose of the sacrifice of Christ was to  redeem us from all iniquities, (not in them), and to purify a people who are preoccupied  with performing good works. This is what ...

WHAT OUR INQUIRY ABOUT OURSELVES SHOULD BE?

WHAT OUR INQUIRY ABOUT OURSELVES  SHOULD BE? We are in the very last days, we are told that the last controversy will be very short. “We are standing on the threshold of great and solemn events. Prophecies are fulfilling. The last great conflict will be short, but terrible. Old controversies will be revived. New controversies will arise. We have a great work to do. Our ministerial work must not cease. The last warning must be given to the world. There is a special power in the presentation of the truth at the present time. How long will it last? Only a little while.” Ellen G. White, Selected Messages bk. 3, pg. 419. And in view of the lateness of time, what should be the inquiry of everyone? We are told: “The inquiry of everyone should be ‘whose am I? To whom do I owe allegiance? Is my heart renewed? Is my soul reformed? Are my sins forgiven? Will they be blotted out when the time of refreshing shall come?” Ibid, pg. 419. We must needs examine ourselves to see if we...

MRS WHITE QUOTES ON THE 1888 MESSAGE REJECTION

1. “The Lord in His great mercy sent a most precious message to His people through Elders Waggoner and Jones.” — TM p. 91. 2. “God gave to His servants a testimony that presented the truth as it is in Jesus, which is the third angel’s message, in clear distinct lines” — TM p. 93. 3. “The message of the gospel of His grace was to be given to the church in clear and distinct lines, that the world should no longer say that Seventh-Day Adventists talk the law, the law, but do not teach or believe Christ. The efficacy of the blood of Christ was to be presented to the people with freshness and power.” — TM p. 92. 4. “This is the very work which the Lord designs that the message He has given His servants, shall perform in the heart and mind of every human agent….God gave to His messengers just what the people needed.” — TM p. 95. 5. “The Lord would have these grand themes studied in our churches, and if every church member shall give entrance to the word of God it will give light and...
